Jack Sugden not coming back!!!

It says on teletext on ITV that Clive Hornbey who plays Jack Sugden will not be coming back to Emmerdale i think this is due to him being ill.

Poor soul, he is not my favourite character in Emmerdale but wish him well and hope he recovers from whatever it is he suffers from. It is sad to see characters being written out of their soaps because of ill health :(

What a shame, that he isnt even well enough to come back and go out with a bang so to speak...tie up loose ends. I wonder if they will kill him off screen?

I emailed ITV about Clive Hornby's return to Emmerdale, they replied only to say that he is ill but will return to Emmerdale once he has recovered. Clive obviously does not want his illness publicised, but it must be quite serious seeing he has been off for such a long time already. I wish him well.
