View Full Version : Live Updates Thread - Week 1
As many of you all know the forthcoming BigBrother 6 will begin next Friday. Once again Davina McCall will launch the nations favourite Reality TV show and we've got ELEVEN whole weeks of BB joy to look forward to!!! :cheer: This thread is for "Live Updates" from the BigBrother house so if something interesting has just happened and you want to post about it just post the time it happened and what actually did happen. I have seen Live Update threads for BB on many other forums including the OFFICIAL BB forum and they seem to work really well. If something major happens in the house then it will warrant it's own thread this is just for little things like an housemate picking their nose or cutting their toenails.
Here is an example of an update:

Anybody is free to post Live Updates as long as they can view BigBrother live, if somebody watches the Channel 4 shows and then posts about something that happened it will be invalid and the post will be removed.
EDIT: To prevent threads from getting too huge, they will be split down by week with each thread having a link to all other weeks.

Mary doesn't like the exposure.
I need to get everyone's name right lol.
Discussion about fur, Masoki or whatever her name is thinks it's okay to kill a Tiger for food but not for vanity.
Last night or rather this morning, Makosi was having a kind of arguement with Craig and Roberto about showering naked in the shower. Makosi said they were hypocrites for not showering naked when they have signed all their privacy away when they entered BigBrother.
Vanessa saw great amusement in this little debate and sat in the corner howling her head off.

LOL yeh you won't need to watch it with me around. When I go offline in a little while and come back I can watch the highlights of anything I've missed so I won't miss any updates. Mind you I have got E4 so I'll just stick it on downstairs and write anything interesting down on a bit of paper.

Day 2 , 10:45
Sam and Maxwell were first in this morning and seemed quite content soaping up together. As sassy Sam scrubbed she noted Maxwell's healthy colour. "You've got a bit brown," she giggled, lightly patting his chest.
When Maxwell had finished rinsing down, he thanked his shower buddy for such a pleasant cleansing experience. "It's been emotional," he grinned.
Meanwhile, Mary was mustering the courage to lather up. Getting changed in the bedroom, she confided in Makosi that she was less than keen about showering in front of an audience.
Makosi was sympathetic but had already prepared for the slippery situation. "I practised showering in my bikini at home," she admitted.
She was also convinced that there must be a hidden bathroom somewhere in the House. "They can't possibly expect us all to shower in there," she reasoned.
Mary eventually made her way outside to wash - in a floor length dress. Passing through the kitchen in her gown clutching a towel, she drew a few odd glances.
Maxwell wondered what her problem was. "I'm a very private person," argued Mary. "I will bare my soul but not necessarily my body."
At least she'll get her laundry done at the same time

Mary says she watched BB over the years and never wanted to go on it.

Mary said she was abused in her past.
Mary feels at that point in her life she has to understand herself.
Mary can see her identity and do her own thing, but she wants her confidence at 150% and not to be afraid who she is in the outside world or in BigBrother.
She likes connection and not false situations.
Mary says she's a white Witch (oh ya don't say).
Roberto joins the conversation.
Mary says she's single and Derek says he's single too so maybe they are made for eachother.
Derek says lots of different things make him tick.
Derek says nobody would be there if they were happy with their life.
Derek says he would never have bothered applying for BB, it was somebody else's idea and they sent a car to collect him. Derek honestly thought he wouldn't get past the first stage and was constantly surprised.
Derek thinks BB is a good idea, throwing people in a house together and denying them certain rights and giving them tasks and looking at the human bonding.
Derek thinks being there is an honour and a priviledge.
Makosi says the people she works with don't watch BB.
An housemate is called to the Diary Room.
The housemates have overspent on the shopping list so have to remove some items. They were 30 odd quid over lol, can't they do maths?
Housemates are re-negotiating the shopping list.

Maxwell takes his top off because it's too hot.
Science went mad when Makosi had to cancel the salad cream from the shopping list and Science accused Makosi of having bad manners and told her all he wanted was salad cream and fish fingers.
Science went mad about the price of salad cream and didn't understand why it was removed from the shopping list in favour of other items.

Makosi is bitching in the bedroom about what has just happened outside with Science she is telling them that Maxwell said she shouldn't have taken the salad cream off and should have taken fruit and veg off instead.

I don't think she fully understands that but this could all be a ploy. She doesn't want to be hated because she has to live with them but she's still doing enough to get nominated, apologising might be a cover for future survival.

yup, if she gets the most nominations she is saved if not then she is automatically up for eviction, but ther is no guarantee she will go
If she gets the most nominations from her housemates when they nominate she will not be evicted. If she doesn't get the most nominations from her housemates she will still be up for eviction and could go depending on the public vote.

Food Feud
Day 2 , 11:45
The housemates have been fighting for their favourite foods to make it onto the group's first shopping list.
Kemal quickly took charge, speeding through the list of grub, but it soon became clear that priorities were clashing.
"We need lots of garlic," ruled Roberto, asking for 20 cloves. Less certainly isn't more for the Italian stallion, who tried to persuade the bartering bunch to order in bulk. As a result, the group will certainly be fully stocked in pasta, rice and apples.
Others had nothing but criticism to offer. "I think lemons are a bit of a waste personally," said Anthony sourly as he lounged on the sofas. "Who cares if it's got juicy bits?" he sighed later while the group bickered over juice.
Science and Maxwell were also disgruntled and soon tired of debating how many bananas to buy. "Get to the nice stuff man!" demanded Science impatiently. "Where are the biscuits, munchies and fizzy pop?"
Maxwell continued his battle against veg whining, "When you've finished feeding the rabbits, can you get food for us and all?"
Remember Maxwell - you are what you eat.
I don't think veg is just for Rabbits even though I don't eat a lot of it. I would have telt him where to go! :D
i'd just thought i'd ask who's enjoying it so far?
It feels a little 'chavy' so to speak for me! Though not as bad as their audition tapes when they got in the house!
I'm getting used to it *JSW* but it's taking me a while.

Not-So-Scary Mary
Day 2 , 12:20
Mary's finding it tough making herself at home in the House, but the housemates are queuing up to offer support.
Last night, she told Big Brother that she felt "vulnerable and exposed" and just wanted to chill out in her pyjamas. This morning's outdoor shower also did little to lessen her self-consciousness.
Luckily, Craig and Makosi have resolved to keep an eye on the witch. Makosi revealed Mary had confided in her that she felt small and unconfident.
"But so what?" argued Makosi. "We don't want all big people. We are all beautiful in our own ways."
Craig wholeheartedly agreed and spoke at length about the value of "people with layers".
Derek also took time to listen to the witch's worries. "I want to be myself here. I don't want to feel like I need to be a character," she confessed to him.
Tory Derek understood completely. "I love individuality, but it's different from acting up," he said wisely.
Mary really shouldn't be worrying - rather than scaring off others with her spooky ways, she seems to be getting on magically with everyone!

Derek says he works privately. He worked in equity finance but now he writes a lot lol.
Derek says he writes on political issues and has just finished a short series of children stories and wants to write a proper book or finish writing a proper book in the next year or so.
Makosi says she feels unimprotant and is just a nurse and Science says if people fall ill they will need a nurse to look after them.

I love that Kemal Birks, they are so funny rowing with Science aren't they. Kemal doesn't even feel intimidated, they are just sitting there with their leg crossed waving their arm around lol. They remind me of a fishwife. Classic! :D

Makosi bursts out laughing. Craig is back from the Diary Room.
BB had asked Craig who he got on and who he didn't and Craig jokingly said he said he hates everyone.
Roberto is drinking coffee.
Craig says he would love to see Vanessa with really long lucious hair.
Vanessa says Craig will have to do her hair one day.
Anthony says he loves all the girls but Mary is too old for him and everybody else is so sexy, so sexy, so sexy he can hardly contain himself.
Saskia explains Mary is 30.
BB calls Saskia to the Diary Room.
Derek says he thinks the blind should go down after midnight in the bedroom. Craig says he can't sleep in the bedroom.
Roberto tells them his surname.
Derek wanders off over the bedroom.
Roberto has a long surname and Craig says "imagine answering the phone with that?".
Derek comes back over to chat.

Im up to the bit where Mary & Roberto are talking about nature, acting, etc, in the bedroom. And Science has just been called in to the diary room.

Mary tells Saskia she feels a lot better but not 100 percent settled.
Saskia says it's normal to feel like that.
Mary says it is a big deal.
Mary says it would be quite embarresing to go for a pint of milk and have someone say "Hey I saw you on BigBrother".
Saskia says that will happen though.
Saskia says she's always wanted green eyes. Mary says Saskia has lovely eyes already. Saskia says dark hair and green eyes are lovely.
Science says it's bang out of order that BB didn't set them a task and he blames this as the reason why people have been kicking off.
Mary will be 31 on Monday and doesn't want a fuss but Science says it's her day.
Lots of housemates in the bedroom.
Kemal is dancing for everybody.
Makosi is sitting on top of Kemal, everyone wants him to dance again.
Kemal and Makosi dance again and everybody laughs.
Anthony says him and Kemal can learn some dance routines together.
