EASTENDERS actors threatened to halt filming and go home after scenes being shot on a beach were disrupted by a gang of abusive yobs.
Stars including Rob Kazinsky (Sean), Rita Simons (Roxy) and Barbara Windsor (Peggy Mitchell) were yelled at by the thugs.
The actors were so upset they threatened to walk off the set in Weymouth, Dorset, unless bosses brought in extra security.
A show insider said yesterday: “The lads were screaming sexual slurs and abuse.
“Some of the cast threatened to get on the first train back to London. There are a lot of fans watching the filming, which is not a problem. But this gang stunned everyone with their abuse. They upset the cast.”
