i personally think that jo is becoming one of the strongest characters in the bill will be interesting to see how she copes with her first major storyline whenever this may be!!

she works great with gary but i would now like to see her working with some of the other stronger characters such as ramani sam terry or phill! think this should definatly be explored soon otherwise her character wont fit in with the group of cid!

i personally think the bill have some very strong female characters and actresses at the moment such as lisa maxwell sally rogers roberta taylor and thusitha jayasundera there is definatly a lack of strong males in comprasion to these females with possible only alex walkinshaw simon rouse and scott maslen coming any were near them!

Smithy and Gina (true meaning of friendship and support almost mother and son style relationship)
Jack and Mickey (almost a father son relationship)
Debbie and Ken (they did some great stuff with loads of comical moments and looks... never thought I would but I loved these two together)
Gary and Tony (A nice double act)
Terry and Gary (Terry's looks and the things he didn't say spoke volumes)
Des and Reg (Before the 2002 station fire)
Terry and Ramani (Great strong crime fighters and friends)


and what do TB do to strong double acts

Gary is rumoured to be leaving.
Gina is leaving
Mickey left
Debbie and Ken both left

I hope that Gary does not leave he really good I thought that he was going to turn out to be the new JIM CARVER, from coming in as a probationer and then moving up to CID as a TDC, hope to see him for a good few years more :wall:

I cannot warm to Jo at all. I do like the double act between Gary and her. She is only a DC but acts as if she is the DCI. If she is such a great detective why has she not been promoted already.

I agree with every word you said. Especially Jo and Ramani are growing characters. Sam and Phil have always been very strong characters. But at the moment, Jo is my favourite, followed by Ramani.
