I believe Ricky is also back for good, but initially for the funeral. Janine is only coming for the funeral, I think.

Yeah initially Ricky is back for the funeral along with Janine and Diane but Ricky and Bianca are staying and i dont think Janine or Diane are

Rickaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! don't you just miss that wailing :lol: Bianca was great in her day but times have changed and Bianca and Ricky have had there time on the square. The reason Sid Owen left the last time was that the writers had run out of storylines for him. How long will it be before the character becomes stale again.

It was not that long a go that EE was being slated for brining back old stars and pointless plots then they pulled themselves back with the introduction of mad Stella and May. EE have not done too baldy this year with the Mitchell sister, Hazel, Shirley and Heather. But if they want to remain the top soap they are going to have to keep coming up with better plots and new characters not bringing back old ones.

Everyone agrees that Mike Reid deserve a brilliant send off and having Frank Butchers kids back is a fitting tribute but Sid Owen hasn't been the greatest actor on EE he only lasted as long as he did because of Bianca's strong character.

I hated Bianca and her constant wailing. When I see the trailor I start to dread Frank's funeral. Only thing that will make me watch is cause of Mike Read and a fitting tribute.

Janine is not in prison, remember there was the episode (I remember cause of the horrid affair with Pat and Frank) where she was aquitted as her dad got the truth from Pat...

I think Sid Owen isn't that much of a good actor and I found the character of Ricky, very boring. I can faintly remember when Bianca was in it.

I am looking forward to Janine coming back the most! My favourite soap bitch! :D Can't wait for her reunion with Pat especially.
