Soap babe Michelle Keegan has scooped a lucrative new Corrie contract. Newcomer Michelle has impressed the big cheeses at Granada so much, they’re pulling out all the stops to keep her. The former airport worker, who plays David Platt’s girlfriend Tina McIntyre, was only supposed to be in the show for a few months but has proved a big hit with viewers. Producers have rewarded her with a new six-month contract said to be worth £60,000.
Hope she stays as David's girlfriend, I am fed up with seeing couples end their relationships every 5 minutes. She is good for him and could end his evil streak eventually.

Good to hear, she is a great addition to the cast, and brings out a much nicer side to David, she's like a better version of Stacey Slater!

I love Tinas character she is a great addition. Hopefully she will have a good storie in the future.

Yeah I agree, I think David has had his fair share of evil moments and he and Tina could be the new Kevin & Sally Webster! :P
