SHAMELESS fashion fanatic Samantha Siddall has cleared out her wardrobe to help research into cancer.
The Reddish-born actress launched the Manchester leg of a nationwide collection campaign by taking bags of her own clothes into TK Maxx at the Arndale Centre.
Samantha, who plays Mandy Maguire in Manchester TV drama Shameless, is now urging others to do their bit for Cancer Research UK by donating their rarely-worn clothes.
Samantha's grandmother died from ovarian cancer in 2005.
The 25-year-old has since become active in raising awareness and funds to fight the killer disease.
Organisers at Cancer Research UK hope the new three-week collection campaign, titled GiveGet, will raise hundreds of thousands of pounds.
