Hiya, I thought there was a homework help thread, but cant seem to find it so sorry if im being blind
anyway my question lol
How have people affected rivers?
Ive tried googling it but I cant seem to find anything, and I know there are some geo peeps on here

Try searching for flooding by rivers, such as the bostle castle 2004 case studies. Its all to do with the location and if thye live on a flood plain

I know a bit about the general people cutting down trees so soil is saturated quicker causes flooding and mudslides, people changing the course of the river so that when it rained the new course can't cope and it reverts back to it's old course, don't know if it's relevant to you. :p
