My battery on my laptop is terrible I have to keep it on charge almost constantly it only has about half an hour of good battery!

Anyone know where I can get a cheap battery that will last (and preffereably has a warranty) ? Internet or highstreet shop will do :D

I have a Packard Bell Easy Note, Model MIT-SABLE-G

Thanks in advance :D

I had the same problem with my laptop battery, it wouldn't hold charge and it was only a year old. I got a spare when I bought my laptop so I got a good deal on it.

What is the model number/code on the battery? My Dell battery is a KD186. It will say somewhere on the battery, search for the code and it will bring the battery up.

I found this on the pacard bell website http://support.packardbell.com/uk/item/index.php?i=topic_00807&

It lasted like 4 hours when I first got it :p I don't always let the battery run down completely so it's kinda my fault :p

my laptop in an acer aspire 5612z and just a year old and i have noticed it is not lasting anywhere near as long as it used to. i seem to always be plugging it in. may have to be a new battery for me too. its terrible that they dont last very long when you spend that much on a laptop isnt it?

Mine went to a point where I had to have it on charge constantly, it wouldn't take charge, or if it did, then it said that it had 31 days of charge remaining  Yeah right! So had to send it away for a new one, as luckily it was within its warranty period.

You'd think they'd come up with a battery that could last longer than 2 or 4 hrs wouldn't you.

I know, I mean it sounds kinda like a long time, but really its not and plus you never really run out the whole of your battery anyway, but that takes time off the amount of time you have it off charge
