Coronation Street star Katherine Kelly has claimed that fans of the show get jealous of her onscreen romances.
The actress, who plays Becky Granger, said that she has been confronted in the street by viewers on several occasions since her character got to kiss Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas) on the show.
She told The Sun: "Girls are really jealous of me as they fancy Jason - they all say they don’t blame Becky for going with a married man as they would too if it was Jason.
"Ryan Thomas who plays him is a lovely guy - he's very popular with the make-up ladies. I wasn't nervous about doing love scenes with him."
However, Kelly revealed that although she is approached by female fans, she still doesn't get much male attention.
"I haven’t got any Valentine cards apart from one from a 10-year-old boy who has promised to sort out Jason for Becky!" she added.
