Sunita Pregnant

The actress who plays Sunita said on Paul Ogrady today that she will become pregnant in the show, and yes its Dev's .



I got this from digital spy. I also heard a rumour about this, Corrie thinking that Dev and Sunita need a bigger story line as they have been sitting on the sidelines lately.

I watched the show yesterday and Im pretty sure I didnt hear her say she was going to have a baby... but I suppose I could be wrong.

I have heard the rumours elsewhere though, in the papers etc.

why isn't dev happy about sunita being pregnant anyway? you'd think he would be after all they've been through, it could be their fresh start together, i don't understand why he just can't be pleased, i think he'd be quite a good dad, and sunita would be a great mum.

I don't think its that he's not pleased, I think he just views her differently, as the mother of his child rather than his lover.

it said on teletext page 118 that dev starts trying to control sunita (not as bad as charlie but still) and gets sally in to replace her while sunita rests. but sunita refuses to be controlled and argues back so dev just turns to someone else. i hate him, why does he have to ruin what they've fought so hard to acheive?

I think it is a shame that this is gonna happen, but I also think its realistic, I think Dev is the type of man who would look else where when his wife was pregnant. Although you'd think after all they went through to get together he might try harder to keep it that way
