Chesney into care?

Poor ol' Chesney is forced to give up his canine companion Schmeichel within the next few weeks when he's taken into care thanks to Cilla leaving him in the lurch with Kirk. Just where can the Corrie writers take Chesney now?

I thought he moved in with Fiz and would have left Schmeichel with Kirk and then visits him daily? I read somewhere ages ago that the writers were going to change Chesney's character into a little monster, has not happened so far but perhaps him being taken into care will turn him into a moody little brat, perhaps he is going to be competition for David? :hmm:

Corrie Blog states that rats are to be blamed for Chesney to be taken into care - how awful. :eek:

Awww Poor Chesney, I really feel sorry for him. I know what you mean though why couldnt he go with Fiz?

same here, i hope they don't ruin his character. although i can see him acting up a bit for a while, he's taken the whole thing about his mum disappearing well so far- he should be allowed to get mad at some point!

with regards to him being taken into care, i can imagine him being placed with Fiz pretty quickly. although one thing i was pondering was that Cilla and Les ho now left- how is Kirk allowed to keep that relatively massive council house for just him and Ches?
