Alex arrives on the street at the crack of dawn to see Michelle and tells an intrigued Norris that Michelle is his mum. However, he's upset when he sees her and Ryan looking closer than ever and leaves feeling lonely and rejected.
Meanwhile, Norris has made sure the entire street knows that Ryan isn't Michelle's real son, while Michelle's panicked when she receives a call from Nick telling her Alex is missing. Nick gives up searching for his son, claiming he's done this before and he's losing patience. But when Alex later arrives in the pub escorted by a police officer claiming that he lives with her at the Rovers, Michelle's shocked. What has Alex done?
Jack is feeling suffocated by Rita and Emily and goes into the betting shop to hide from them. Realising that the last time he placed a bet was the day Vera died and he hasn’t checked if it was a winner or not.
As Dan starts to look up the records - Jack’s over the moon to discover that every horse he bet on came in and he's owed £3,000! As he frantically searches for the betting slip so he can pick up his winnings, he’s horrified to learn that Vera took the ticket and put it somewhere safe - it's nowhere to be seen. However, Dan’s made it quite clear – no ticket, no money. Will he let Jack off?
Elsewhere, Steve gives in to Liz's endless pleas to redecorate the Rovers and put her own stamp on it. Also, Roy leaves for Africa, but after Becky arrives with all her possessions, he seems more nervous about her moving into the flat.

As the factory girls continue to gossip about Carla and Tony, it's clear that she’s not as fine as she’s making out. When Tony turns up to give her a cheque, he takes her keys from her handbag when she's not looking and lets himself into the flat. When she arrives home, she’s worried when the door to the flat is unlocked. She swings it open to hear noises from within...
A nervous Carla goes downstairs to get the tyre iron from her car and heads back up to the flat. She's baffled when she enters to find the table set for a candle-lit dinner for two with some soft music playing and when she sees someone come out of the bedroom she swings for him and is furious when she discovers the intruder is Tony!
Carla demands that he leave and is livid when he doesn't take any notice of her. As they row, it’s clear there’s still chemistry between them and the argument eventually turns into a passionate kiss as they head for the bedroom. Relaxing post-coital, the couple continue to banter and they're both enjoying playing games.Is the relationship back on?
Tyrone and Molly have decided they don't want Paul to stay on as a lodger at No.9. Meanwhile, back at the house, Paul’s elated when he finds Jack’s winning betting slip amongst Vera’s belongings. He's waiting to present it to Jack but when Molly and Tyrone tell him he'll have to start looking for somewhere else to live, he slips the ticket in his pocket. Will he come clean about the ticket or will he steal more money from his grandfather?
Violet is really starting to lose her patience as everyone seems to think she’s being ungrateful and harsh on Sean by telling her that it's his baby. Later, when a passer-by sees Jamie with Violet and assumes he’s the father, they admit that’s all they want and Jamie suggests that if they weren’t in Weatherfield, they’d be able to live like a normal couple. Violet knows that they’ll never be able to have the life they want if they stay on Coronation Street, but will they have the courage to leave? How will Sean react?
Elsewhere, Gail is incredulous when Tina and David take over the house with their mess and leave her with all the dishes to clear up. How will she feel when David reveals she's moving in for two weeks?

Meanwhile, Ryan’s not the only one who seems to have a problem with Alex moving in with them and Michelle is getting tired of having to defend him to Vernon and Liz. Violet is annoyed when she hears how Sean has been talking about how he and Marcus are so well equipped for looking after the baby. Later, when her afternoon off is interrupted by Sean and a professional cleaner, she's furious. He’s convinced he’s being helpful when he tells Violet to make herself scarce as the cleaner makes the flat fit for a home birth.
However, when she rushes over to the cab office to tell Jamie the latest, she’s exasperated when Steve comments that Sean is just getting excited about his baby. How much more can Violet take?
Elsewhere, Tyrone and Molly are buying the Duckworths' and have asked Jack to carry on living with them. Jack's delighted but asks if they could reconsider making Paul leave. Will Tyrone relent?
Also, David tells Tina she can crash at 'Hotel Platt' seeing as her mum is going away for two weeks and assures her it’ll be fine with Gail.

Jack feels terrible that Paul is looking for somewhere else to live, while Paul makes his way to the bookies to pick up Jack’s winnings. Dan is shocked he has the nerve to rob his own grandfather. Paul offers him £1000 to keep schtum and Dan agrees.
When Harry starts his shift and notices Jack’s bet has finally been cashed, he congratulates a bemused Jack on finding the slip. Jack tells him he’s not found it and Harry confronts his son, demanding to know what’s going on.
Harry’s furious and forces Dan to pay Jack back out of his own pocket. Dan goes over to the Duckworths' and tells a delighted Jack he’s decided to pay him after all. However, when Dan approaches Paul demanding the money back, Paul refuses, leaving Dan fuming. Will Dan expose him to Jack?
Jamie and Violet have decided to keep their move a secret from Sean and to do it before the baby arrives. However, as the reality of the move sinks in, they realise they won’t be able to say goodbye to their friends and start to appreciate the enormity of what they’re doing. How will Sean feel when he discovers they’ve gone AWOL with his baby?
Meanwhile, newlyweds Liam and Maria have returned from their honeymoon, more in love than ever. When Liam pops into the factory and asks Carla how she’s coping after her break up with Tony, Carla claims she’s fine and refrains from telling him that they’re back together again. Is Carla still holding out for Liam?
Elsewhere, Gail is annoyed that David didn’t consult her before inviting Tina to move in for two weeks.

Violet and Jamie are excitedly preparing for their secret move – but when Violet starts to get nervous about all the lies, she suggests they leave tonight. Jamie agrees and decides to take a load of their stuff down to London and drop it off at a mate’s house and come back to get Violet. However, as she gets off the phone from Jamie, she panics as she starts to feel pains and is suddenly struck by a contraction.
Liz finds her trying to stagger inside the pub where an alarmed Marcus sets about helping her, while Sean goes to get Jamie. However, when Jamie spots Sean waving at him – he assumes he’s going to interrogate him. Pretending he hasn’t seen him, Jamie drives away. Back in the pub, Violet’s stunned when Marcus tells her there’s no time for the ambulance - her waters have broken and the baby is coming. Will Jamie get Sean's message? Will their plans to leave be forgotten once the baby arrives?
Dan confronts Paul again to get his money back, but Paul is standing firm and asserts that it’s not his problem. As Dan refuses to back down and Paul claims he's not easily scared, it’s clear that this is far from over. What will Dan’s next move be?
In a bid to reclaim control of her own home, Gail suggests to Tina and David that they go out for the evening, but as they moan that there’s nowhere to go and they’ve already invited all their mates over, Gail resigns herself to a night in the pub. She's pleased, however, that David is finally acting like a normal teenager!
Elsewhere, Liz has decided to go ahead with a refurb for the pub and when Vernon arrives back with paint claiming for the refurb which is starting tonight, Steve's shocked as it's the first he's heard.
Also, Carla shocks everyone when Tony arrives in the factory and she greets him with a kiss. Liam thrown when Carla informs him that they just had a spat and asks Tony to move in with her. Is Liam jealous?

Violet is in labour in the pub and as Marcus takes on the role of midwife, Violet gives birth with an elated Sean at her side. Marcus presents them with a healthy baby boy and there are tears all round as Violet embraces her baby.
At the hospital, Jamie rushes in, apologising that he couldn’t be there earlier. But as Jamie sees Sean cradling his son its clear he feels excluded and is worried about how much Sean has bonded with the baby.
Later, when Sean questions where Jamie was heading in such a rush, he stutters an excuse, leaving Sean suspicious. Violet and Jamie decide that for now, their plans are on hold - they can't bring themselves to take the baby away from Sean and they both feel utterly trapped. How will they cope?
Michelle tells Alex that its time he went home, but Alex retorts that he feels everyone’s trying to push him away and he hates living with Wendy - he's felt more at home with Michelle than he ever did at home.
Later, when Wendy arrives to take him home, Alex refuses to go back with her and asks to stay at the pub longer but Michelle’s torn. She doesn’t want to send him away but it’s not fair on Ryan to let him stay much longer. She tells him he can stay for the weekend but will she be able to say goodbye? How will Ryan feel when he discovers he's staying longer?
Elsewhere, Dan is livid when he arrives home from a date with Kelly hoping to get lucky to see that his flat has been taken over by Harry's tatty old furniture.
