On Richard and Judy today it said that Ian Aspinall (Mubbs Hussain) is leaving Holby City soon along with his co star Mark Moraghan (Owen Davies) leading to rumours that the Maternity ward may be closing down

I'm actually not that bothered I can't stand Mubbs he's a pain

i knew owen was leaving but didnt know about mubbs. im not that bothered about mubbs as i dont like him very much but i wish owen was staying!

they might change the type of ward again which i think will be more interesting!! like an isolation or specific disease ward! thev done this before when they changed from the childrens ward to the maternity ward

yes i would be glad of a change from the maternity ward, get a bit fed up of the same love triangle storylines!!!!!

Mubbs annoys me but i don't want owen to leave, what will happpen to diane is she leaving too??? i think that if they change the maternity ward and do a different ward, that will be better, every week theres always someone having a baby!!

Whatever happened to the children ward in Holby. it finshed when Janice left i thought that was really good.
The maternity unit is boring.
I wonder if Micki will become a student nurse and work with Donna. that will be funny

yeah that wud be cool! the maternity ward just has the same thing happening each week, which is just someone having a baby and finding out the father is someone else!

Aw, I didn't know about Mubbs. It seems that everyone is leaving and there will be no-one left.

According to the bbc press office Mubbs has a heart attack. on 21 june it says "Mubbs is being treated after his heart attack" doesn't say if this is why he is leaving! :searchme:

And now Lisa has been confirmed as leaving too. Holby is going to have a staffing crisis soon!!! Holby is getting rid of the Maternity Ward. It is widely speculated, according to holby.tv, that Mickie w ill train as a doctor to keep her in the show. That's all I know, I'm afraid!!!

Mickie is training as a med student and Maternity is going.

Mubbs doesn't leave til September time though so its not his heart attack that kills him or anything.
