News for all Corrie fans, Violet's annoying sister Lauren will soon be quitting the cobbles for good.

Actress Lucy Evans makes her exit next month, just a few weeks after Violet and Jamie leave with their new baby. Insiders say producers have gone off the idea of turning Lauren into a long-term character but a spokeswoman insists that she was only ever staying for six months. Either way, Lauren's out.
