holby.tv can exclusively reveal that actress Ivana Basic is joining the cast of CASUALTY.
Ivana will play the role of paramedic Snezana Lalovic.
Snezana is known as Zana by the gang. From Serbia, Zana can be easily misunderstood, for being so serious and focused. But sometimes she just doesn't understand the banter between the team members. She comes across as very serious, but in fact is very warm. She is also very private, and doesn't initially reveal much about her personal circumstances - leaving others guessing.
Native to Croatia, Ivana's television credits include Silent Witness, The Bill, Murphy's Law and Doctors. She's also made a previous guest appearance in CASUALTY in Series 19 Episode 22. Her film roles include Inbetween, Infinitive Justice and Lawless.
She will be onscreen from 16th February. A new male paramedic will also be announced shortly.
