Kelly Rowland has admitted that she isn't ready for a Destiny's Child reunion.

The pop trio – comprising Beyoncé Knowles, Michelle Williams and Rowland – disbanded in 2005 after becoming the biggest-selling girl-group of all time.

Rowland has followed the Spice Girls comeback tour with interest, but insisted that it's too soon for Destiny's Child to follow suit - a decision that Williams seconded.

"You know, myself and Michelle were actually watching something on the Spice Girls the other day," Rowland told DS. "We looked at each other and said: 'Are you ready for that again?', and then we both said: 'You know what, we'll see what happens and wait just a little bit longer.' I think we're all allowing each other personal growth right now."

However, Rowland insisted that she remains in close contact with her former bandmates.

"Michelle called me last night, but I haven't had chance to return her call yet, and I spoke to Beyoncé a couple of days ago," she said. "We all spend our birthdays together - we're friends and sisters above anything. If I'm feeling stressed or frustrated, I can call one of them and just totally vent, you know."

Destiny's Child have discussed reforming the band after a number of reunions inspired them.

Singer Kelly Rowland revealed that a reformation could be on the cards and that she would like to start performing with Beyoncé Knowles and Michelle Williams again.

Rowland, who left the group when they split up in 2005, said: "This current spate of reunions has given us ideas. Despite what people say we are all still really close.

"A couple of weeks ago Beyoncé did a show in Los Angeles and asked me and Michelle to join her on stage to sing 'Survivor'. The emotion was incredible and it felt so good to be back up there with the girls again.

"It was a real tear-jerker. The fans were crying and going nuts. It was magical. I'd definitely like us to do more stuff like that."
