Lego celebrated its 50th birthday yesterday, I had loads of fun as a child creating all sorts of things with my set. Do you have fond memories of Lego or perhaps you are still playing with it under the pretense of playing with your children?

Lego is one of the best toys that has never lost it's appeal to young kids and can keep them amused for ages. I remember my nephew having a huge load of lego he was allways getting the stuff and it used to get everywere. We used to find bits in the bed and all other places.

I have buckets of lego in the loft. I used to build a layer of one colour then a layer of another until I ran out of bricks :D Lego is ace.

The worst bit of playing with lego is standing on a little brick. That hurts so much.

there is nothing worse than standing on a lego brick.. ouch :(
My son got a big bucket of lego for christmas... they are the bigger block cause he is only 2 and would probably swallow the smaller ones

Yeah, Tabs, if you'd had a more 'wholesome' upbringing, playing with some little plastic pieces...then you wouldnt have ended up as the asbo queen of Crewe......:D

I loved playing with lego......infact I have some in my classroom and I like to 'help' the children make things with it, when they get free choice on a Friday pm....:o
