Okay so was listening to my mums new CD with her.. which is "Jackie"... if you were a 70's kid you would know that it was a magazine back then.. and they have an album now.

I love most songs on there.

But have always loved this song..

Listening to this CD though makes me realise just how rubbish music is these days. Sure I love some songs and bands etc.. but it's nothing compared to old music (60's/70's/80's) IMO!

I so agree with you, they used to have proper tunes and understandable lyrics, most of the time, anyway, unless you listen to some of the stuff they produced when obviously under the influence of some drugs, but most of the stuff is brilliant. Wonder what future generations have to say about current music trends. :hmm:

I know what you mean i have soo many old songs that i listen to all the time, i doubt people will be listening to the popular stuffnow in 20 years time, only time will tell though.
