While Michelle’s had yet another sleepless night worrying about Ryan, he's been staking out Nick's house.
Ryan's shocked when Alex approaches him and asks why he's been hanging around. A fight breaks out between them and Ryan is forced to tell Alex the truth about Nick.
At the pub, Michelle is horrified when she gets a phone call from the police telling her Ryan is in hospital after being involved in a road accident.
Meanwhile, as the neighbours go round to No9 to pay their respects to Jack, Tyrone is worried that Jack's avoiding talking about funeral arrangements.
Elsewhere, Liam decides to ask Ryan to be his best man in a bid to assure him he’s still part of the family.

Michelle and Steve arrive at the hospital to find Ryan bruised and battered but ok.
When Nick and Wendy arrive, the group all sit down to try and decide what to do. Will Ryan want to find out the truth and put an end to the turmoil?
Meanwhile, Tyrone, Paul and Molly are worried that Jack isn't up to organising the funeral but are relieved to find him writing a list of things he thinks Vera would have liked at the service.
And finally, Darryl asks Lauren to go a gig with him at the student union. What will she say?

Maria is busy making preparations for the wedding and pops in to the factory to tell Liam about the flowers.
But she's furious when Carla interrupts to tell Liam that the hotel rooms she's booked for their business trip have mini-bars.
Meanwhile, there's a tense atmosphere as Michelle finally receives the resulst of the DNA test. If Wendy and Nick are Ryan's parents, will he eventually prefer them to Michelle?
Elsewhere, Gail is embarrassed to return home just as David and Tina head upstairs to the bedroom and attempts to give her son a quick lesson about precautions. Better her than us.
Finally, Darryl comes away from his date with Lauren having had a great time, but is disheartened when she doesn't appear to feel the same.

Carla and Liam leave for their business trip while Maria struggles to hide her jealousy.
On arriving at the hotel, Liam is suspicious when the receptionist can only find one room booked under Carla's name.
However, when the pair are together, the sexual chemistry is obvious and Carla jokes about jumping into the shower with Liam.
Can he resist her?
