Just a thread to post about tv scenes that have been very emotional for you in one way or another, where you were utterly drawn into the tv, every last drop of emotion compelled to watch it.

What has made you roar with laughter?

What has shocked you to the core?

What has made you cry your eyes out?

The most shocking for me is the finale of Skins when Tony gets run over by a bus, it was totally and utterly shocking, I didn't see it coming, and my heart stopped when it happened and pounded throughout the last few minutes of the show, a televison experience I shall never forget.

What made me cry with laughter: Probably Only Fools and Horses, The scene where they were workinng on the chandiler and they unscrewed the wrong one and it crashed to the floor. You knew it was going to happen.

What shocked me to the core: Mandy Jordache being jailed for life for killing abusive husband Trevor. I really thought they were going to find her and Beth not gulity.

What made me cry my eyes out: Season 8 of ER when Dr Mark Greene found out his brain tumour had returned and it was terminal. Watching hiim deterorate each week and not telling his fellow colleagues was heartbreaking. On his final shift he went and said good bye to everyone I bawled all the way through the episode.

Grace's Death scene in Hollyoaks. Mandy's reaction when she found her dead was absolutely heartbreaking, i'll never forget that episode.

Flynn's dying moments in Home and Away when he had a brain tumour.

I'm sure there are more, I can't think of any at the moment.

Mel Silvers death in Waking the Dead I'll never forget that shocked me so much!

Grace's death in Hollyoaks was the saddest thing :( Also Will's death in Holby

In Casualty Dixie and Greg winding Toby up with the dracula fangs and the cult made me laugh so much :lol:

I have to agree about Mel Silver's death - totally shocking! I didn't see it coming when I first watched it and the way she died was completely awful! She was one of my favourites and it was sad to see her go like this! :( I think this individual scene shocked me to the core and had me in tears!

Roaring with laughter moment is probably Only Fools and Horses where Del goes to lean on the bar but it isn't there and he falls straight to the floor! :rotfl: I was in stitches!

I think for crying Im now gonna add the death of Vera to my list, although the times Ive watched she never had major storylines, she was also a character I enjoyed being there and death wasnt a mjor end to a storyline but I just think it was still so powerful and emotional because it was smaller scale and made be cry so me cry so much

Only Fools and Horses is just a classic for laugh out loud moments, I cant count the amount of times ive been in stitches over this show :D Pure brilliance.

Many things :p. Urmmm.. something that springs to mind... on Fawlty Towers.. the episode with the Germans. Most scenes in that.. particualrly when he's just come out of the hospital and he's serving them Germans and starts doing a Hitler impression :lol:. Always makes me laugh no matter how many times I see it!

What has shocked you to the core?
I can't think of one for this.. I read too many spoilers to be shocked anymore tbh.

What has made you cry your eyes out?
Flynn dying ! :crying:.

And Patrick in Casualty dying :crying:. Still can't believe it :crying:.

What has shocked you to the core? Locke was in a wheelchair in lost (series one)

What has made you cry your eyes out? When Lance left home and away and sally was sobbing after him.. I cried for weeks

in Early Doors when Joan and Eddie are doing the pub quiz in the Grapes and in the last episode of series one when they go on the lads day out to the races and any scene where phil and nige are there especially when they stat laughing due to being high on drugs "Crime Can't Crack Itself" Its brilliant

What has shocked you to the core?
Mel Dying in Waking the dead and Izzie in Waterloo Road, i did not see that one coming at all.

What has made you cry your eyes out?
Vera dying, Grace dying in hollyoaks, Steve Leaving in Shameless at the end of series 2.
