I have a funny feeling Steven might be gay... he mentioned he wasn't when that french girl came on to him and he says he is seen stacey when Christian comes on to him... Maybe his feelings are deeper and he doesn't want to admit it cause he know how Ian feels about gay people

I don't think Ian could possibly be gay. He's been married 4 times and although one marriage didn't last past the reception, it was Mel that ended it because she found out that he lied. I think there'd have been signs long ago if he was gay.

Maybe "What's on TV" are just wanting to make people wonder if something will happen between Ian and Christian as Christian was close to David.

I think Neli was refering to Christian not Steven. Anyway Ian's forgiven him and so have his brother and sister. We know Steven was mentally unwell at the time and that the shooting was an accident - all the same I am curious as to what Christian's done to upset Jane - I can't help thinking it has something to do with David, Jan's first husband.

I saw a video clip on Christian Clarke's charecter page when after hugging Jane Christian tries to hug Ian but Ian backs away so Christian shakes hands instead. As for the homophobia thing - I doubt it. Didn't he tell Steven he doesn't mind what two people do in the privacy of their own bedroom and that people are not bothered about other people being gay nowadays?

I don't think Ian's gay either.However, the other evening when they were having dinner and Peter said that one of his teachers is gay Ian's immediate reaction indicated that he wasn't happy about it. He then composed himself and said all the right things.

I think he probably is a bit homophobic and will feel uncomfortable around Christian, at least to start with.
