Half of these nominees I haven't heard of.
I haven't voted for best live act, and female and male internation artist because I don't like any of the nominees.

Girls Aloud pick up their first nomination since 2005, for British Group, while Mercury Prize winners Klaxons will compete for two prizes.

In the international categories, Kylie Minogue, Foo Fighters, Arcade Fire and Kings of Leon have each been nominated for two awards.

Despite all her troubles, I would have liked to have seen Amy Winehouse on the list somewhere, I think she is brill. :cheer:

I would have liked to see her nominated for her album. It was the biggest selling album of 2007 which I think deserves some recognition.

I find some of the nominees on here a bit bizzare

Amy Winehouse was up for loads last year, maybe she can't be nominated again this year seen as Back To Black was a 2006 albumn.

I bloody refuse to accept that Mark Ronson desereves an award - he rips off other people's songs and gets other artists to sing them, yet puts his name and his face on the albumn! No way does he deserve an award! Simon Amstall was a legend ripping him to shreds on Buzzcocks.

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have revealed they will throw Heather Mills off the stage if she attends tomorrow's Brit Awards.

The couple, who are hosting the event at Earls Court, say Paul McCartney's estranged wife wouldn't be welcome at the awards ceremony.

Sharon said: "I would boot her off. I think she's a miserable old cow."

Ozzy admits he is looking forward to presenting McCartney with a Lifetime Achievement Award, describing him as his "hero".

"The body of work he's got is just unbelievable. But I really don't want to be there if Heather shows up. Never mind McCartney having a go - I think the audience will string her up.

"Sharon and I have met them both on a few occasions but if Paul doesn't know her, I'm ********* if I do. She's ********** nuts."

Brit bosses have revealed they are worried that Ozzy will strip on stage, with the TV broadcast put on a 30-second delay in case the Black Sabbath frontman's wild antics aren't suitable for audiences.

"Everyone is praying they can keep Ozzy on the straight and narrow - otherwise this could be the biggest meltdown in the history of the Brits," an insider said.

That should be fun to watch  I hope Heather Mills does not attend seeing that she is not friends with Paul McCartney, no reason for her to attend imo.:crying:

I'm sure Ozzy and Sharon will have the crowd in stitches.

Heather has no reason to turn up, she's got no connection with the music industry now.

It was reported on GMTV this morning that they will be sitting on gold thrones with a skull and bat.

Well, I think Sharon O made a mess of presenting the awards, what was it with getting changed every five minutes into a dress that did not look much different to the one she was wearing before? :searchme: And didn't she just go a little (!?) overboard announcing some of the acts? Amy Winehouse behaved better and seemed sober compared to Sharon  And all her swearing that was bleeped out was not really necessary in my opinion.
Good awards otherwise, congrats and well done to all the winners, I personally would have liked some awards to go to other performers, but there is always next time.

I think Sharon had too much sauce between the comercial breaks on Wednesday night as she was gibbering on. Kelly and Jack made a better job than she did. Well done on Amy Winehouse performing sober she did fab but she looked far too skinny compared to last year. I don't think Mark Ronson deserved the best male singer award when technically he didn't do any singing.

Brit Awards Complaints

Ofcom has received around 43 complaints about the Brit Awards show on ITV1.

Most of the complainants who watched the live broadcast were upset by bad language.

Host Sharon Osbourne used bad language when comedian Vic Reeves took to the stage. Reeves appeared to forget which award he was there to present. Osbourne accused him of being drunk, and yelled: "P*** off, you p***** b******."

Alan Carr pronounced himself 'a bit p*****' as he presented an award to Take That.
