Tess struggles to run a department of work-to-rule nurses, and is surprised when Kelsey turns up to do overtime as an agency nurse, as the medical drama continues.

Ruby, a little girl previously helped by Greg, arrives with her mother, Chloe, and father, Mark, to give chocolates and flowers to the staff that looked after her.

A graffiti artist, meanwhile, lowers himself over the edge of a bridge, but gets his foot tangled in his safety rope and is left hanging. The rope slips and he falls on to the road below, causing a massive crash. Greg arrives at the scene but struggles to assess the situation on his own. Working his way through the injured, and the fatalities, he discovers the car belonging to Ruby and her parents – who were on their way back from delivering presents to the ED staff.

Another victim is diverted away from Holby ED to St James's Hospital, as Tess reluctantly closes the department because they are too busy.

Greg later feels he was helpless at the crash site and doesn't want to do the job anymore. Dixie consoles him, but Greg is adamant.

Tess is played by Suzanne Packer, Kelsey by Janine Mellor, Greg by Kip Gamblin and Dixie by Jane Hazlegrove.

Does Greg leave then? I never really liked him.

Aw that story is going to be quite sad though. Seeing the family and little girl give something to the staff, then them having an accident.. and by the sounds of it their outcome isn't good lol!

I kinda like Greg. But I'm bored of him now. Since he joined the RR.

Greg was great, but he's got a bit boring and frustrating recently, I preffered him when he was with Cyd...wouldn't be a loss if he left.. :p

It just doesn`t make sense that Charlie was let go because of hospital funding yet they bring in a new consultant and agency nurses too.
I just can`t see the logic

Sad but true. That`s probably why I love Casualty - because of its realism (most of the time)
:)
