To be honest, I only watched this because Jane Asher was in it and I knew her from Holby :p
But it was actually quite good, the guy who plays new King Richard is really good :D I may well be watching the rest of it :D

I loved it :D Even better than Richard makes me go weak at the knees.
Didn't see much of the youngest sister. I think the oldest one is a cow though.

Well I thought I would give it 5 mins but ended up watching the whole thing. Loved it, can't wait for next week.
Actor Tom Conti is reportedly furious after ITV commissioned new drama The Palace.
The Shirley Valentine star said he had planned a similar show about a fictional royal family but his idea was rejected by the channel.
He is said to have spent years working on his project, which would depict events at Buckingham Palace in a similar style to hit US series The West Wing.
A source told The Daily Telegraph: "Tom couldn't believe it. We all think it's outrageous. I can't think this kind of thing would ever happen in America".
The Palace features Rupert Evans as the King of England and Jane Asher as his alcoholic mother.
Tonight:
George is involved in a hit-and-run accident that leaves an elderly man in a critical condition and Eleanor plots to use the information against an oblivious Richard. The monarch finds himself in another tough situation when he is on the receiving end of sharp words from the Prime Minister after publicly declaring an interest in offering aid to a war widow.

I loved this! :)
So did I. I don't think its been commisioned for another series though.
I was a bit disappointed that Izzy only appeared for two episodes. She was a bit of pointless character in that respect. I liked her though

Yeah, Izzy should've been in it more, it could've been more exciting had that happened.
Not enough people watched it for it to be recomissioned. :(
I was watching the Vice the other day and that guy who was the Eleanors accomplace was in it! :p
I did like the episode where Izzy went a bit mental. I found it a bit difficult to watch in places because it reminded me of myself
