CLEVELAND Campbell is swapping the rolling hills of the Dales for the gritty streets of East London for a guest role in The Bill.
The former Emmerdale star, who played Danny Daggert in the popular soap, appears in the second installment of gripping eight-part special, Witness.
He plays the part of Maurice Thompson, a local housing estate resident who is only too eager to help the police with the investigation into a woman’s murder.
But when DC Grace Dasari (played by Amita Dhiri) does some more digging into his window tinting business, she finds he is not being completely straight about his involvement.
Campbell will guest star on The Bill on January 17.
