No, but I have a child in my class who's autistic, so I know a little about it.

My cousin has autism. He really likes motor car racing and his memory is outstanding. He's recently liked watching Only Fools and Horses, and he can reinact any scene he wants, with all the dialogue spot on. It's amazing.
When I was younger, I used to be in a special needs unit with learning difficulties. I had speech problems too, and was diagnosed as dyspraxic so I have an idea on what that's all like.
I have cerebal palsy, and I have a friend who has 2 sisters who have epilepsy. I also knew some girls from school who have down's syndrome.

Wow that score is amazing! I take it, he's really smart then?
Well I got tested for dyspraxia when I started school as I was in special needs (they first thought I had autism)..and I'm not sure what type of dyspraxia I have, but I have some of the symptoms, like struggling to carry out simple tasks (some I'm embarrased to admit), and being rather clumsy, having poor co ordinaton and I did first have help for it, but I've just grown up with it and it's something I just deal with. I did an IQ test and got 98.
I stopped doing PE about two and a half years ago, because I found it too hard and the bullying was worst during the PE lessons as it made my disability very obvious. I'm not good with anything that requires co-ordination and struggled in Music too. My balance isn't that good either.
My strength is with the academic subjects, but I do get called stupid and thick, because two thirds of those with cerebal palsy have learning difficulties. I'm predicted 7A's and 3B's in my GCSE's at the moment and I got 127 in the last IQ test I did.
IQ of 149!! That's almost enough for MENSA.
I have epilepsy. One of my friends has Asperger's. He finds it really hard to communicate with people he doesn't know. It took him a few months for him to talk to me properly because he didn't trust me.

My best friends sister has special needs...various doctors have tried but don't really know what's wrong with her....it's hard to explain..she's 11 but it's like she has the mind of a three year old.
She doesn't have any sense of danger, she has problems with speech, but she's so sweet and cheeky though I've helped look after her before, you have to drink your drink really quickly because she likes to tip it out of your hand :p
I also have a friend who has bipolar and another who is epileptic.
Most of my family have dissabilities my grandad has OCD, 3/4 of my brothers have dyslexia, 2/4 have ADHD 1 of them has a bone condition, and 1 has a food alergy to anything with glucose in, One of my sisters has a heart condition and the other is deaf, I have Aspergers, Brittle bones, Hypermobile joints, and authritus. x
