Its Back...Merseysiders!

Well, a couple of years ago merseysiders was a consistant soap on the boards but unfortunately I never had the time to continue writing the soap but now I do! And Merseysiders is to return with a all new look. Some characters I have axed but the majority of characters have remained the same! Including the soaps bad boy, Tommy Gallagher! Look out for Tommy in some explosive storylines in season 1!
So from the 3/1/08 its a new time for merseysiders and I am looking forward to it! Here are some of the characters.

THE QUEEN ANN ( UPSTAIRS)

Roger: ( looking out of the window at the weather) Well, another years Christmas and new year has gone off well!
Maria: Yes, this years intakes must have been better than last years
Roger: Easily
Roger leaves the room leaving Maria on her own.
Maria: Hey Roge?
Roger: ( From the kitchen) What is it love?
Maria enters the kitchen
Maria: Do you know when you said we could go and see dennis and the kids?
Roger: Yes, when we have the money.
Maria: Well now we have.
Roger: Yes but who will look after the bar?
Maria: Don’t be silly! Val will cope ok.

Out on the street Tommy is walking past on the phone

Tommy: Yes Barry, maybe I could but we need to find the money first. Weve been short recently you see. Where are you?...Pauls? your always at his recently, Im sure something is going on between you two. Yes well meet me at the bookies, I don’t like to be spoken to on the phone! Its rude!

The Queen Ann- still in the kitchen upstairs.

Roger: Maria we haven’t left Val in charge for more than a couple of hours, I mean she is clumsy, I don’t know if I can trust her in charge of the pub for a month why we go on our jollies to Australia!
Maria: Well Ill get Audrey and Wayne to stay then? They used to own the club down by the river, I’m sure we will trust them.
Roger: Ok Maria, Ill see what I can do!
Maria: Good rodge you know how happy you would make me if we went to see Dennis
Roger: I know, as I said Maria, I am not promising anything but I will see what I can do

The bookies Barry and Tommy are talking.

Barry: Yes, we have the cash, I have drew up an offer which even they cant refuse.
Tommy: I must admit Barry I am tempted. But is it a good investment

Barry goes into his pocket and pulls out a sheet of paper

Tommy: Whats this?
Barry: It’s their documents, how much money they’ve been taking in. And you wonder if it’s a good investment?
Tommy: Ill sort it out then!

The Queen Ann, afternoon, Val and Roger are serving behind the bar. At the bar there are a few extras and Jimmy Lawford.

Jimmy: Roger, pint of tetleys when your ready
Roger: Yes coming right up mate.
Jimmy: Good Christmas?
Roger: Yes not bad mate yourself?
Jimmy: Yes weren’t bad thanks.
Roger: Good. Not seen you for a while Jimmy, been any where good?
Jimmy: Seeing the kids! Well Tracy anway!
Roger: Ohhhh Tracy. Is that your kid from your previous marriage Jim?
Jimmy: Yes, she’s not doing bad! Married now and her first kid on the way. Living in Alicante now!
Roger: Come to think of it, the wife wants us to go and visit Dennis in Australia.
Jimmy: Australia? That would be pricy?
Roger: Yes! That’s what I’ve been telling her but she don’t listen!
Jimmy: Well you see I could get it done cheaper for you, flights and transport. Our Jacky’s sister, Rita knows someone in the travel agency. Ill get in touch with them.
Roger: Could you? If you could do that you would make an old couple happy

ROGER AND JIMMY LAUGH

THE BOOKIES TOMMY IS TYPING SOMETHING UP ON THE COMPUTER.

Barry: ( entering from the front into the office with a cup of coffee) Nearly done?
Tommy: Yes, this is an offer they can’t refuse! The way Ive worded it we may get some interest as well!
Barry: Right, shall we go over now then?
Tommy: Yes let me just print this off!

THE QUEEN ANN. THE BAR. ROGER AND JIMMY ARE STILL TALKING.

Jimmy: (Finishing his drink) right mate that’s me off!
Roger: See you later mate.

JIMMY HEADS TOWARDS THE DOOR AND OPENS IT, AS BARRY AND TOMMY WALK IN!

Jimmy: Oh…Barry…Tommy nice to see you!
Tommy: ( Ignoring him) I know, its always nice to see me isn’t it!

JIMMY LEAVES

Roger: So, Tommy, Barry, what can I get you?
Tommy: ( putting the contract on the bar) This place!
Roger: Im afraid I am not selling up Tommy
Tommy: I don’t think you heard me correctly. I said I want this place and when I say I want something. I usually, no I always get it!

TOMMY AND BARRY LEAVE LEAVING THE CONTRACT ON THE BAR WITH ROGER STOOD THEIR STARING AT IT.
