Well its been another good year for the show :thumbsup: but which did you vote for? I went for the Clare stuff, that whole week where she got pushed off the balcony was Hollyoaks at its best, bit disappointing to find out it was boring Justin Burton who pushed her but it didnt matter as it was still a great storyline anyway. And then we had her fantastic exit in September which also failed to disappoint! Who knows, she may be back some day soon!
Another close contender for me was the anorexia storyline with Hannah Ashworth, in which she proved she wasn't just there as a pretty face and could actually act, and brilliantly may I add too. Emma Rigby's performance in this storyline has also been voted the 2nd best tv performance of the year according to a recent magazine poll. :clap:
Bad storylines this year would have to be Becca's death for me which was totally rushed with no emotion to it all, a bad exit for a once decent character. Still it was nice to see Mandy back for a couple of episodes. :)
All in all, a decent enough year for the show. Not quite as strong as 2006 I thought, but still thoroughly enjoyable :) The introduction of the cheesy titles was unforgiveable though!! :eek:
