I think Tanya does a pretty good job, she seems pretty selfless when it comes to her children.

I think that Honey is just brilliant as a mum, always sees the best in everybody and after the initial problems is coping so very well with little Janet. :cheer:

couln't have said it better my self lol, though i have voted for honey because she has gone through,and is still going through, some really togh times and she still puts her children first, i hope that her and billy's luck turns around really soon, they deserve it more than anybody in soap, never mind eastenders!

i think tanya on the other hand has also gone through so much recently and she has more trouble times coming up towards christmas, what with the affair being revealed, however i have to say that i think she looks past lauren abit and thinks more of abi and what she wants, she just tells lauren what to and what not to do!

i have voted for honey because i just love, she is a funny chrcter but is sensible in the way she needs to be...she always puts her kids first!!!

couldn't agree more Siobhan! Bringing up 2 kids under the age of 2 sounds the most daunting thing ever! Good on her!

As I had to pick one I chose Tanya as she is my first choice but I think both Tanya and Denise are the best mums.

I have to go for Denise. I would have said Honey, but she really let herself down in Janet's first months. You don't just turn your back on a child because of a disability. Billy didn't, and the bond between mother and child is supposedly stronger. Denise always supported her kids and wanted the best for them, expecting Libby to do the best that she could in her exams and wanting Chelsea to do the right thing.

After tonights episode I think Shirley might try and be a really good mum to Deano and Carly, but they might reasent her for being with Keven and they might think she caused his death.
