So what's up with Dawn?

In the last couple of episodes I realised that Dawn has been ignoring her friends, first when Carly shouted her name and waved at her but she just seemed to look straight through her and then when Shabnam waved at her she did the same.

Did anyone else notice this aswell and if so do you know if it is apart of a new storyline or something?

i was about to say that, i thought maybe she couldn't see the people waving at her! but i thought maybe she'll just need glasses, i hope she doesn't lose her sight, she's had enough trauma!

I imagine it is that she needs glasses. I'm short sighted and cannot see things at a distance without my glasses.

I am blind as a bat without my glasses,, I can not see any one waving at me or see a sign with out them.
Dawn is a vain young woman, and she may be denying she needs her eyes checked ???????

Yes.. your eyesight get worse with pregnancy along with your IQ, your hair, nails, teeth..

It is not big.. she just needs glasses but is far to vain to get them, I wouldn't call that big unless she does an Alf from H&W and knocks someone over but she doesn't drive

She was really squinting bad last night when she went in the PO and Caryl said she needed glasses,,,Dawn said SHE DID NOT,,,but she signed for cases of drink mixers and not knowing what it was,, so my guess is shes gonna have to face up to it eventually. If this storyline is going to be about Dawn being too vain to wear glasses, then I'm guessing she wouldn't be able to wear contacts - possibly she has astigmtism. Your eyeballs are rugbyball shaped. Astigmatism occurs when the front part of the eye, the cornea, is not a regular symmetrical spherical shape. Instead, its shape is rather like that of the back of a spoon - longer in one direction than another. Because the cornea is an irregular shape, the eye can't focus light passing through it sharply on to the back of the eye or retina. So vision is blurred at all distances. I cannot wear contacts for this reason, but even if I could, I wouldn't, because I don't like touching my eye :rotfl:

Do not forget the hearing as well, only thing that never fully comes back. Hair teeth and nails get better. IQ I'm not sure but short term memory is also bad. Ehm what was I saying?

Ah but look on the bright side Dutch girl. Parenthood may cause you to take leave of your senses but at least you grow an extra pair of eyes at the back of your head, and a new talent to read kids minds.
