Steve has managed to keep the news about Jim’s release a secret from Liz and nervously makes his way to the prison to collect his dad.
Jim appears calm when Steve carefully broaches the subject of Liz’s wedding plans. He claims he’s happy for her and has no intention of causing any trouble. But will his jealousy get the better of him?
Elsewhere, Liam’s getting increasingly wound up about Carla and Tony's relationship and claims he's not happy about doing business with a man Carla's sleeping with. However, when Carla tells him he has no right to comment on her relationship, he decides to find out more about Tony.
Meanwhile, Liam and Maria agree that no matter what they decide to do about the baby they don't want to split up. But what about Liam’s feelings for Carla?
And finally, Ryan noticed a car waiting outside school the previous day and is unnerved when he notices the same car the day after. Is someone following him?

Liz is stunned when Steve reveals that Jim’s been released from prison.
But she’s in for an even bigger shock when she spots Jim about to enter the Rovers Return. How will Liz react when she meets up with her violent ex-husband after all these years?
Meanwhile, Liam plays detective and tries to dig some dirt on Tony Gordon. Unfortunately for Liam, Tony proves to be squeaky clean – so far.
However, Liam has more pressing issues on his mind when Maria tells him that she’s going to have an abortion. Will Liam agree and will Maria go through with it?
In the Rovers, Norris drops a bombshell on Doreen and tells her he doesn’t want to get married. What will Doreen do to save her pride?

Liam stalks Tony Gordon and bumps into Tony’s ex, Lindsey, who has a long rant about Tony’s obsessive behaviour.
Liam can’t wait to get back to the factory to tell Carla, but she isn’t too happy to hear that Liam’s been snooping around. When she accuses him of being jealous, an enraged Liam storms out of the factory and straight into the salon where he proposes to Maria over a shampoo and set.
Elsewhere, Jim’s presence clearly upsets both Vernon and Liz. Jim says he wants to be near his family but Liz is worried that having Jim around will disrupt her wedding plans.
And finally, the new bookies arrive on the Street in the shape of Harry and Dan Mason.
Dan’s chasing up debts and the first thing he does is head to the cab office, looking for someone called Lloyd, who owes him some cash. Cheeky Lloyd pushes his luck and tells Dan he’s never heard of him. Will Lloyd get away with it?

When Carla finds out, she’s stunned by the news. However, she hides her true feelings and congratulates Liam. She then rings up Tony Gordon to accept his offer of a night out and decides to put Liam out of her mind. Will Liam and Carla ever face up to their feelings?
Over in Roy's Rolls, David causes problems for Sarah and Jason when he sends Becky flirty text messages from Jason’s phone. Will David succeed in breaking up the newlyweds?
Meanwhile, Steve gets off to a bad start with the new bookies when Harry tries to steal his staff. He then catches Dan flirting with Michelle in the Rovers. Lloyd, meanwhile, is doing his best to lie low and hopes that Dan won’t catch him to pay up his debt.
Elsewhere, Eileen’s hopes for a romantic night with Jerry are ruined when she discovers they’re staying in to look after his kids. Will Eileen call it a day with the kebab king?

David steals Jason’s phone and gives it to Sarah.
He pretends that he’s found it on the Street. Sarah can’t resist scrolling through the texts on the phone and as she’s looking at it, David sends more flirty messages from Becky’s phone. Sarah’s devastated and confronts Jason but will she believe him when he declares his innocence?
In Underworld, Liam and Carla bristle around each other as they try to hide their true feelings. Carla gets another shock when Maria announces her pregnancy in the Rovers but covers up her surprise by pretending to get cosy with Tony. Are either Carla or Liam truly happy with their new partners?
At Streetcars, Lloyd gets his cab nicked by Dan Mason when the bookie decides to teach him a lesson. However, Harry undermines his son’s actions by giving Lloyd the car keys back but he assures Dan that Lloyd won’t get off easily if he doesn’t pay up.
And Jack and Vera announce that they’re moving to Blackpool. Molly and Tyrone are shocked by the news and Paul worries how this will affect the loan he’s got in Jack’s name.

David’s plan to split up Jason and Sarah results in a catfight in the café.
Sarah thinks that Becky has been sending flirty text messages to Jason and David is over the moon that his plan is starting to have an effect. But when Jason realises who’s behind the saucy texts, he catches out dastardly David. Ooh, good.
Meanwhile, Ryan feels nervous when he spots the same car following him on his way to school again. Michelle’s confused when she finds out from his school teacher that Ryan’s been leaving school early and going in late. Just what is Ryan up to?
And Kirk dons a suit to speak to Liam about his intentions towards his sister and to give him some fatherly advice.
