anyone watching this period drama on bbc1?
it is really good and really funny too. not your usual period drama. part one was on last sunday and there are four more parts to it.
there is a host of stars in it including dame judi dench, philip glenister etc.
well worth a watch at 8pm tonight or tape it if watching top gear lol!

I am really enjoying this program Cranford is terrific,, some great performers. I felt bad for the young doctor last night.. he lost a young patient ( young brother of the girl he has his sights set on ) and the loss of the eldery spinster sister of Judity Dench,,
I am looking forward to next sunday

I've seen the first two episodes. It's a great bit of drama for a Sunday night. I never expected the two deaths at the end. Imelda Staunton and Julia Mackenzie are wonderful as the villiage gossip mongers.
