IT'S DR. CARTER'S LAST SHIFT AT COUNTY GENERAL -- DANNY GLOVER GUEST STARS -- On Carter's (Noah Wyle) last shift, four new interns begin their tour of duty. After completing their rounds, Carter, Kovac (Goran Visnjic) and most of the ER staff head out to Carter's surprise going-away party down the street at Ike's. Ray (Shane West) leaves to go to another party where the revelry is interrupted by a disaster which truly tests his mettle. The casualties are taken immediately to County General where a skeleton staff headed by Abby (Maura Tierney) and Neela (Parminder Nagra) must step up to the plate all on their own. Elsewhere, Pratt (Mekhi Phifer) finally gets the courage to confront his father Charlie (Danny Glover). Sam (Linda Cardellini) and Kovac search for Sam's son after he runs away in search of his imprisoned father. Also starring Sherry Stringfield. TV-14

sorry not sure when it is aired here, but in the states it is aired tomorrow.

ER usually finishing in june in the UK so this episode cant be far away!

I watched the final episode on Friday night, and again on saturday and bits again on Sunday, well i couldn't help it, it was going to be my last chance in a while to see John Carter!!!

While John Carter is leaving and his party is all underway, a porch collapses at a party with all of Ray's friends and kills and injures a lot of people, Neela and Abby are left running the ER. Moris is a complete idiot and is drunk at this party and does absolutely nothing, meanwhile Ray keeps everything under control and is fantastic.

Also Sam's son (sorry cant remember his name at the minute mind gone totally blank) runs away to see his dad and the last scene is him getting in to a car.

Needless to say I shed a few tears while watching, cant wait for the next series.

no my hubby downloads it for me everyweek, very naughty i know, but i couldn't wait for it to come out over here. When it came out in the US first we would have had to wait about 2 months before it came to our screnes, just oo long for this impatient girl!!
