Sunday 2 December 2007

Hilary (Paula Wilcox) and Doug (Duncan Preston) tell Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) and Ashley (John Middleton) that they have decided to return home. When their car brakes down on the way, Laurel and Ashley offer to help them out and give them a lift.

On returning back home Hilary and Doug are shocked to find the door ajar and it soon becomes clear that, unbeknown to them, their other daughter Caroline had been staying in their house, but what is she doing there?

At the hospital Miles (Ayden Callaghan ) and Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) hide when they see Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) arrive to visit Donald (Michael Jayston). As the pair bond over Nicola's wickedness it is clear Jasmine's feelings for Miles are growing.

Later that day a suspicious David (Matthew Wolfenden) tells Nicola that he is sick of Jasmine taking him for a mug as he is convinced she is hiding Miles. How will an outraged Nicola react to this?

Monday 3 December

Trying to get her out of the house, David (Matthew Wolfenden) tries to persuade Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) to spend the day with him. When she's not looking he steals her back door keys and heads out to give them to Nicola (Nicola Wheeler). Later that day, Miles (Ayden Callaghan) is shocked when Nicola lets herself in. She succeeds in tempting him to drink by reminding him of his poor relationship with his mother. How will Jasmine react when she returns home to find Miles drunk?

Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) is upset that Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) is still being rude to her but Jack (Clive Hornby) suggests she is just trying too hard. Later when a disagreement over where to have Christmas lunch arises, Victoria takes the opportunity yet again to have a go at Diane. But whose side will Jack take?

Emily (Kate McGregor) is gutted when Lisa (Jane Cox) makes it clear to her that she will never forgive her for taking Sarah away. Later that day Emily tries to make amends with Debbie (Charley Webb) by trying to convince her not to leave it too late with Sarah. Will this persuade Debbie to change her mind?

Tuesday 4 December

When Jasmine's (Jenna-Louise Coleman) article revealing the truth makes the front page, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) tries to buy up all the papers in the shop, but is too late as the truth is out. Nicola tries to make excuses to Rodney (Patrick Mower) and Paul (Mathew Bose) but they end up even more amazed by her attitude. Rodney tells her he has finally had it with her and is moving out.

Later on Nicola and David (Matthew Wolfenden) pay Miles (Ayden Callaghan) a visit to make sure he is aware that Jasmine has mentioned he is a recovering alcoholic in her article. Has Jasmine jeopardised any future relations with Miles?

Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) feels guilty when Jack (Clive Hornby) opens up to her and says if he can forgive Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) surely she can. She relents and tells hims that she will have Christmas at the Woolpack. Diane is delighted but is her and Jack's relationship really back on track?

When Paul seeks comfort from Jonny (Richard Grieve) about Nicola's latest exploits the pair grow closer. They both agree that they have felt distant from each other and Paul once again apologises. Does this mean that the wedding arrangements will soon be resumed?

Wednesday 5 December

Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) is back in seduction mode and she questions whether David (Matthew Wolfenden) is loyal to her. When he says he is the pair kiss. Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) enters and sees the pair rolling round in a state of undress and she tries to hide her upset. She questions David and isn't convinced that he wasn't cheating on her when they were together. Jasmine leaves clear in her mind that David and Nicola deserve each other. However, news from the hospital may be about to complicate matters.

After setting up a store outside the church to sell their bionic bears to the parents attending the Christingle service, Chas (Lucy Parteger) and Lexi (Sally Oliver) are delighted when they sell their last bear to Terry (Billy Hartman). Later that day Terry and Duke (Dicken Ashworth) are horrified to find their Christmas tree on fire, but who or what is to blame?

Menawhile, Grayson (Christopher Villiers) is frustrated when the police say there is still no news about his mother's disappearance. He tells the police that they should investigate Matthew (Matt Healy) again but the police say their hands are tied until more evidence surfaces. Grayson is comforted by Katie (Sammy Winward). Is their relationship becoming too intimate?

Thursday 6 December

Donna (Verity Rushworth) and Ross (Samuel Anderson) discover Rosemary's car abandoned in the bushes close to the Kings' property Manor Farm. When the police tell Grayson (Christopher Villiers) about their discovery, this confirms in his mind that his mother was indeed going to meet Matthew King (Matt Healy).

The police question Matthew and he confidently agrees to let them search Manor Farm. Later that day, Matthew is less cocky when the DC Blackmore arrives to ask him down to the police station as they have found evidence during their search.

When Jonny (Richard Grieve) has to exercise the horses for Katie (Sammy Winward) she decides to tell him the truth. Jonny is shocked to learn of her surrogacy and tells her she is making a big mistake. Katie storms off in anger. Later when Jonny dicusses the surrogacy with Paul (Mathew Bose) he is angry with him for feeling he couldn't share the secret. Will he tell Katie some home truths in order to stop her going ahead with the surrogacy?

When word gets out about Terry's (Billy Hartman) fire, Ross (Samuel Anderson) questions Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Lexi (Sally Oliver) about the bionic bears. Will they be able to convince him with their story?


Friday 7 December

Matthew (Matt Healy) tells the police that he is sure someone is trying to frame him but the police show him an entry in his diary from the day of Rosemary's disappearance - 'RK-MF'. The police suggests this stands for Rosemary King - Manor Farm. Matthew is stunned and denies making the entry. With nothing concrete the police let Matthew go, is he being framed?

Elsewhere, the villagers gather for Emily's (Kate McGregor) leaving drinks in the Woolpack, letting her know she will be sadly missed. Debbie (Charley Webb) arrives and buries the hatchet with her. As Emily unwraps her leaving gifts a spat breaks out between Grayson (Christopher Villiers) and Matthew. Can Emily act as peacemaker and convince the others she will make a good vicar?

Grayson is annoyed when Katie (Sammy Winward) tells him she had to tell Jonny (Richard Grieve) about the surrogacy. He visits Jonny and tries to bribe him not to tell Katie that he is gay. Jonny is incredulous but Grayson warns him that he could ruin things between Paul (Mathew Bose) and Jonny. Clearly worried, Jonny later tells Paul that he thinks they should leave the village and make a fresh start. What will Paul decide?
