Hi guys, I missed the beginning of this excellent drama, and was wondering how Mary met Grenville at the start and how he traumatised her so much? I started watching it when he gave her the keys to his house. Thanks in advance :D

She met him at a party( even tho he was at many many of the parties she went to ),, she went to the kitchen one night to get a drink of water and he showed up and started making a salad,, that was pretty much it,, David Williams scared the beejeebies outta me, it was nice seeing him in a different genere instead of LITTLE BRITIAN.
