BBC Children in Need are holding lots of eBay auctions over the next week.

I recently did work experience at the BBC, and helped do the write-ups for this, and take the photos and what not. It's a brilliant cause, and the items you buy are brilliant.

You can find everything that they are selling here (http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ50QQsassZbbcQ5fchildrenQ5finQ5fn eed)

Christmas is just around the corner- Try getting something off there, and have 100% of your money go to a great cause, as well as great an absolutely brilliant item from it.

:)

I didn't think there was any point in starting a new thread for this year's CIN so I'll post news in here.

From DS

Judges from The X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing are to host segments of the BBC's Children In Need.

Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh will take the reins of a section of the seven-hour show and Arlene Phillips will be responsible for another.

This year's telethon is the first time guest presenters will feature alongside Terry Wogan and Fearne Cotton.

Other stars scheduled to appear include Kylie Minogue, Myleene Klass and Torchwood star John Barrowman.

Four members of the Hollyoaks cast are to perform a Marc Bolan medley, while CBBC favourites Sam and Mark will also take on some presenting duties.

Strictly contestant Brian Capron recently revealed that he is to cook at top Belfast restaurant Ginger alongside Dana and Jan Leeming on Friday to raise money.

Children In Need airs on BBC One on Friday at 7pm.
