Please all be careful with any bonfires and fireworks and make sure that the animals are safe, they don't know what is going on and why and get scared  . Keep them and the little people safe.
Hope you all enjoy your events. :cheer:

Complete and utter waste of money and a nuisence. My daughter is terrified of fireworks so I'm pleased I don't get bothered to buy them. There has been loads going off round our way since 6pm and there still going off. They should be only sold to organised events.

Yeah loads going off by me. I love fireworks though, so I quite like it. Spesh if they're really near cause you can see them. My parents refuse to buy them though :(. Although I have some sparklers :cheer:. It is annoying when you're watching TV though haha.

I don't like my dad putting out fireworks, worried it will go around but I love to watch them all blow off. It gets a bit annoying at night when your trying to sleep and it's like 11pm/12am!
But yeah, have a lovely bonfire night :D x

I don't neccicerily like fireworks, they used to scare me when i was a kid but last year me and my friend took her little girl to the local display, me and my mate went on the rides at the fun fair and brought flashing dummies  going again tomorrow with them, the girl is a bit older now so she might understand better

I went out with some friends last night after the display at the park. They went and bought a bottle of Ammereto then bought on of those firework cake things. Needless to say me and my friend, the only two girls there, were getting very worried. The guys let the firework off in the garden but didn't secure it properly so it fell over after it was lit. Luckily it went out and nobody was hurt.

Please don't play with fireworks, we were lucky this time but it could have been a whole lot worse.

I remember one year, a few years back, one of the organised displays didn't go to plan, some of the fireworks exploded or something, I never went, but my mate did, and she got slightly injured. Luckily no one was seriously hurt, but they are dangerous things, even in organised displays.

My sister's dog had a siezure last night because he was so scared of the bangs. They phoned the vet and she said sedating him would make him worse, just to keep him in a room with the door shut and the curtains closed. My sister and her bf were going out so they took Rocky to Ian's mum's and he's still there now.

people were setting them off in morrisons carpark today whilst i was at work, we were all like why- you've queued for an hour so why waste them?! last night at my mates party we had them, we made sure that only someone who hadnt drunk anything could set them off, i mean it's obvious to be safe to us, but not to some i guess!

It is the time of the year again to look out for your pets, especially on Thursday, when they might get scared by all the fireworks. Make sure you keep them indoors. Keep them and yourselves safe

Just heard on my local radio that a kennel is offering free service to look after pets in the area who might get frightened if the owners wish to go out for the night, which is commendable.
