View Full Version : Heather Mills McCartney
Does anybody have any thoughts about her outburst on various TV shows yesterday, where she compared her life to that of Princess Diana and the McCanns?

I honestly have no sympathy for her .. Her child has never been in any danger.. as for her running up 1.5 million pounds in legal fees, :readtheru no one forced her to hire the TOP OF THE LINE legal team and hope that Paul will pay for it in the end. Right now its all MEDIA FODDER:searchme:

Im not sticking up for the woman, but she was comparing her treatment in the press, to that of the McCanns, and Princess Diana. Its easy to see how what she said can get taken out of context.
I personally thought she was rude to Fiona on GMTV, and when she started crying, I wasnt sure whether that was genuine or not....:hmm:

I thought she was out of line as well on GMTV, there was no reason for her to be so rude to Fiona,,as for the tears.. shes been around show biz long enuff to pick up a few pointers how to CRY..:hmm: she is just media fodder at the moment,, she needs to just SHUT UP and move on.
She showed her true colours. I think she is a publicity seeking slapper and wouldnt be fit to tie Princess Diana's or Kate McCann's shoelaces.
The false tears really didnt help her case.:nono:

Although I don't agree with the media invading peoples lives 24 hours a day Heather has been her own worst enemy. What she seemed to forget why Paul McCartney has so many admirers is that this man came from nothing by joining a young band before she was born, they became the biggest band in the world no-one will ever acheive what the Beatles did.
She came along and maybe she did fall in love with him personally I don't buy it. She married him for the status and the cash and now that the marriage has ended she is asking outragous amount is divorce payments. She moans that she is in £1.5 million debt in legal fees who's fault is that. She could have kept her dignity and gob shut when the marriage broke down and Paul would have made sure that her and their daughter were secure for life but no. so if the public hate her TUFF LUCK!!!
She's as bad as posh spice she is happy enough to pose for pictures and give interviews when everything is fine and dandy. They should put the pair of them in a rocket and launch it to the moon.

Here's the interview in full.
7mins 25 seconds: "Who says I want Paul's money? I'm £1.5m in debt." Says it all really.
As far as I've seen, the British press have been totally supportive of the McCanns'. I've not read a report that accuses Kate and Gerry of having anything to do with Maddy's disappearance so I don't know what Heather has been reading.
Like hell is she going to get enough support to change EU law to make tabloids reveal their sources and stop printing lies.
She's just a gold-digging, attention seeking slapper. I don't know what her aim was by going on GMTV but she's just made the situation a whole lot worse for herself. The media are going to have a field day with her. Bet she'll love all that attention.
1.5m in debt yet i read somewhere else she has just bought a 2.3 million house!
i cant stand the woman, and her interview on gmtv and this morning made me dislike her even more!

She's just making a rod for her own back with all this rubbish that she's spouting about. She should shut up and go back to America. They seem to love her over there.
Heather Mills played a tape yesterday on which she claims Sir Paul McCartney confesses to hitting his first wife Linda.
McCartney's estranged wife went on a tour of TV and radio stations yesterday to complain about the media backlash against her.
During one interview she shocked witnesses when she played the recording off-camera, according to newspaper reports.
One witness said: "It was quite extraordinary. There were raised voices. Heather and Paul were shouting. Paul can be heard confessing he hit Linda 'once or twice'.
"No one knew what to do. It was astonishing stuff and seemed to back up Heather's claim that she's the victim in all of this."
A spokesperson for the Beatle has not commented on the reports.
During one television interview yesterday on GMTV, Mills appeared to break down and claimed that she was being treated in the same way as Princess Diana and Kate McCann by the media.

Heather is no victim, she's just after attention to make herself look good. I don't know why radio and tv stations are giving her air time.

Oh dear, she really is not doing herself any favours, is she?
I think thats disgraceful behaviour, play that tape - soooo much for wanting to protect her little girl and Paul (as said the other day in a GMTV interview).
I really havent much sympathy for her at all, infact its made me completely dislike the woman.

The majority of the Great British Public hate her guts. She's only after Paul's money and she wouldn't even be in the public eye if it wasn't for him.
She had no right to play that tape. She only did it to make herself look better. She should stop digging before she falls in the massive hole that she's dug.
Heather Mills has been accused of exaggerating her links with two charities.
Sir Paul McCartney's estranged wife claims to be a leading backer of the organisation Protect Darfur, which raises funds for victims of the war-torn African country.
But a spokesman for the group said: "We are surprised that Heather Mills has chosen to name us. We have no formalised arrangement with her."
She has also professed to be a spokesperson for the charity No More Landmines, but its director Neil Morrans said: "We've not had any discussions. I met her once in August."
The 39-year-old insisted that 80% of her income goes to charity in a series of television interviews in the US and UK over the last two days.
She played a tape off-camera during one appearance, on which she claimed McCartney confesses to hitting his first wife Linda.
She also accused him of "doing nothing" to protect her from the press, saying: "I have pleaded, I have begged. He knows I was at a suicide point and still nothing has been done."
Heather Mills has accused Sir Paul McCartney's daughter Stella of trying to break up her marriage.
She told US TV show Extra that the fashion designer was "jealous" and did "evil things" in an attempt to cause a rift between the couple.
The former model insisted that Stella, 36, was angry that her father's new wife would "get all the planes and the diamonds".
The interview - conducted via video-link from London - was the latest in a succession of television appearances in both the UK and the US.
Mills said: "Every single week Stella tried to break up our marriage. She was so jealous. Stella wasn't interested in her dad's happiness. I can't protect her any longer. She's done some evil, evil things... we found out she scraped my face out a photo when they were in psychiatric session together."
She added: "The McCartney family is untouchable."

When is this woman going to give up??
what did she do?? record every conversation her and paul had?? god whatperson does that?
sooo bored of her now, if she dosernt want the press attention why is she on tv!
GMTV host Fiona Phillips has defended Heather Mills following her emotional interview with the show earlier this week.
On Wednesday, Heather told Phillips that she had suffered "worse press than a paedophile or a murderer", despite having "done nothing but charity for 20 years".
The estranged wife of Paul McCartney received widespread condemnation in the press the next day, with particular criticism being levelled at her references to the way Princess Diana and Kate McCann were treated by the media.
Fiona has now insisted that Mills does not deserve such treatment and begged members of the public to show "humanity" to her.
"Heather has had a tough life. She's not light-hearted or naturally warm. She does like attention but that doesn't warrant the systematic destruction of her character," Fiona wrote in her latest Mirror column, published today.
"To sit next to a woman who was once a golden girl because of the gutsy way she reacted to losing a leg, and to witness her breaking down before me, was gut-wrenching."
"What has she done to prompt such depraved behaviour?" she continued. "Is she a gold-digger? "Eighty per cent of my money goes to charity," she told me. Whore? She did glamour modelling when she was a teenager, which "Paul knew about".
"Liar? Fantasist? Who hasn't embellished the odd story? Why did she liken herself to Kate McCann? She didn't. She criticised the media treatment of the McCanns."

sorry...... were those violins I "heard"???? what Heather has done is not going to earn any sympathy from me...:thumbsdow
There are a lot of people out there coping with loss of limbs (look at the war zones where loads of mines still maim/kill people today, ages after the war has finished and our soldiers out in Iraq and Afghanistan or other people that have had accidents), they all react in a gutsy way and have not got the money she has - I don't understand why the media is so interested in her.:searchme: They should leave her alone, then she would not have to whinge and cry about being hounded. Does she get paid for her appearances? :searchme:

I personally think she's just seeking attention and needs help. Couldn't care less either.
I know this is a bit late in the day to make comments, but I've been out of the loop since I've been at uni. Just watched the complete two interviews and I have to say I'm starting to feel for her.
Don't get me wrong she's probably a gold digger, but I don't think she deserves to be vilified by the press and the public to the extent that has already been.
She does have some valid points to make, the gutter press and paparazzi in this country are disgusting, they can ruin people's lives with their malicious lies. As Heather said our press can accuse parents of murdering this missing child, harassing Diana for every day of her life until they chase her to her death.
Have a look at that site she's been going on about, some convincing arguments on there.
