Sounds to me like Sarah and Jason get married and David lives to cause more havoc, when is somebody going to get him sectioned like Ashley did with Clare when it became obvious that she had mental issues?

Why aren't Sarah and Jason away on their honeymoon that Audrey & Gail organised ? Maybe the wedding didn't go through after all, and Sarah is burning her wedding dress etc.

Well, David did it - he managed to spoil the wedding, even though they did get hitched in the end, but it was not the happy occasion one likes a wedding to be.

I can't understand why Gail hasn't got David help or why the police haven't been back to question him. If you drove your car into the canal surely your mental state would be in question and you would be assessed. Corrie are skirting over this issue too lightly

I am not sure that David actually was in the car when it ended up in the canal. :hmm: Knowing the devious little git the way we do, he could have pushed the car into the canal and then had a quick swim before going home, all wet and cold. All we know is that he turned up at home again, but the police or ambulance did not bring him, did they?

As I said on another thread: "My wife, who is a consultant psychotherapist working in the youth and adolescent field, said that, as David is over 16, the police would take no action if neither David nor his mother wished them too."

Also, David was in the car, but, if you remember, he left the window open so he could get out.

But where was he all the time? Somebody reported the car going into the canal, the police went to the church, Gail etc. went to the canal while the wedding went on, ages later David turned up, on his own. Surely he would have stayed around for his family to see him in the water, would that not have been more effective? I reckon he conned everybody into believing that he tried to kill himself because he is not acting very depressed and Amber told Gail that he was ok when she visited.

Yes, but he would have got very wet waiting for someone to turn up. I don't think David is in to too much discomfort!

He got wet anyway, he could have hidden somewhere and then come out of hiding once he had his audience around. :hmm: ?
