Sunday 4 November 2007

Her confidence knocked, Donna (Verity Rushworth) is unsure whether to attend her police interview. However when Marlon (Mark Charnock) hints that something is going on between her and Ross (Samuel Anderson), Donna has a dramatic change of heart and storms off for her interview. When a delighted Donna returns to the Woolpack with news of success, Marlon's continuing suspicion tempers the occasion and Donna's mood. Will Donna be forced to choose between career and kin?

Meanwhile, Viv (Deena Payne) is downhearted and prepares to consign her books to the bargain bin. However, Freddie (Keith Woodason) soon appears having got the launch date wrong, but under the impression he's there to wind her up, Viv throws him out of the shop. Later he reveals to Bob (Tony Audenshaw) he in fact has a proposition for Viv. Has the snappy scribe blown her chances to hit the big time?

Elsewhere, Jamie (Alex Carter) is forced to cover his tracks when Louise (Emily Symons) spots Amelia's (Gemma North) business card amongst his belongings. When Terry (Billy Hartman) suggests that Jamie may be hiding something, Louise is dismissive. But when Amelia attempts to seduce Jamie at the wine-tasting, could Terry prove to be a prophet of doom?

Monday 5 November

Louise (Emily Symons) asks Jamie (Alex Carter) to help collect firewood for bonfire night but he lies about working in order to have another wine tasting session at Tall Trees. Louise is later shocked to see Jamie with Amelia (Gemma North) and, jumping to the wrong conclusion, is comforted by Terry (Billy Hartman) and Duke (Dicken Ashworth). Later, dealing Jamie a slap, Louise quickly organises herself a date to show him that she's already moved on. But is Louise really ready to trade in her toyboy?

Elsewhere, on the morning of the hearing, Daz (Luke Tittensor) blames Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) for everything that's happened. She comes under further fire when she receives anonymous bullying text messages. With Andy's (Kelvin Fletcher) future hanging in the balance, is Jack's (Clive Hornby) family falling apart?

Meanwhile, Perdy (Georgia Slowe) is nervous about going into hospital for the surrogacy procedure, and worries that Katie (Sammy Winward) will be the target of gossip once word gets out. Gray (Christopher Villiers) comes up with a solution but will it hinder more than help?

Tuesday 6 November

Louise (Emily Symons) admits to Terry (Billy Hartman) her date was disasterous and is clearly still hurt by her break-up with Jamie (Alex Carter). However, she's shocked when Amelia (Gemma North) turns up with the true version of events, and Louise realises that she's made a terrible mistake. Tail between her legs, she attempts to make things up with Jamie, but is he ready to accept her apology?

Meanwhile, Jack (Clive Hornby) is furious when Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) goes missing on the day of her court appearance but calms when she reveals she's been at Sarah's grave. Receiving more bullying texts whilst at court, Victoria is further agitated when Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) turns up to support her. Dealing her short shrift, Victoria tells her to leave. Will the tormented teen hold it together in the dock?

Elsewhere, Ross (Samuel Anderson) and Kirsty (Ruth Westley) emerge after a night sleeping separately while Marlon (Mark Charnock) is dismayed to hear from Donna (Verity Rushworth) that Ross doesn't love his girlfriend. Later the policeman and his girlfriend talk, with her accusing him of having feelings for Donna. Are paranoid partners Marlon and Kirsty on to something?

Wed 7 November

Matthew (Matt Healy) confronts Katie (Sammy Winward) and demands to know what's happening with Perdy (Georgia Slowe), but she remains tight-lipped. He later overhears her talking to Chas (Lucy Pargeter) about her attraction to Gray (Christopher Villiers) and stirs things by then trying to convince Perdy that the two are having an affair. She takes pleasure in revealing the truth about the surrogacy. A shocked Matthew tries to convince her that she's making a mistake but will his words get through?

Elsewhere, Paul (Mathew Bose) is equally surprised to learn Perdy and Gray are pushing ahead with the surrogacy. When Jonny (Richard Grieve) suggests January for their civil ceremony, Paul is distracted and his mind is clearly elsewhere. Undeterred, Jonny goes to see Ashley (John Middleton), who agrees to have a service in their honour at the church. However are Jonny's best laid plans destined to go wrong?

Ashley also has issues to address closer to home when Hilary (Paula Wilcox) gives him a ticking off for being less than discreet in his frolics with Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy). Her eyes are opened even further when Viv (Deena Payne) later fills the meddling mother-in-law on Ashley's past indiscretions with other villagers. Can Hilary bite her tongue with the increasingly frustrated vicar?

Thursday 8 November

Perdy (Georgia Slowe) snaps at Katie (Sammy Winward) before work as the pressures of the surrogacy and Matthew (Matt Healy) take hold. Further doubts are cast in Katie's mind when Matthew tells her of his liaison with Perdy. When he tries to seal the deal by offering double her money to walk away from the surrogacy, Katie begins to have second throughts and tells Gray (Christopher Villiers) about the financial offer. In turn, Gray piles on the pressure and Katie doesn't know which way to turn. Is Perdy about to lose out on motherhood once again?

Meanwhile, Jonny (Richard Grieve) asks for Emily's (Kate McGregor) opinion on his and Paul's (Mathew Bose) wedding invitation and she finds out Ashley (John Middleton) has offered Jonny a church service. Troubled, Emily tells the Bishop (Peter Cartwright) who insists Ashley (John Middleton) withdraw is as it will be mistaken for a gay blessing. Is this the first nail in the coffin of Jonny and Paul's marriage?

Elsewhere, Lily (Anne Charleston) is having problems with a faulty fuse but Edna (Shirley Stelfox) is concerned when Lily suggests getting Doug (Duncan Preston) round to fix it. Her pleas not to cause trouble in Doug's marriage fall on deaf ears and Lily arranges to meet him for a drink. Will Hilary (Paula Wilcox) blow a fuse of her own?
