Following the departure of actor Peter Wingfield, who played Dan Clifford - a new Consultant is hot on his heels.

Hari Dhillon will be joining the show from Episode 6, playing the role of Consultant General Surgeon Michael Spencer.

His character has been described as 'a dishy new American consultant who is a major hit with the ladies'.

Hari's television credits include Without a Trace, Medium, Charmed and The Loop. However avid fans may remember Hari appeared in six episodes of HOLBY CITY between 2001-03 as Dr Sunil Gupta.

Meanwhile whilst Connie Beauchamp takes a sabbatical which sees her absent for seven episodes, a new Locum Consultant will arrive to cover her from Episode 4.

New Locum, Stuart McElroy (left), will be played by actor Conor Mullen and will be on the show for 3-4 months.

Conor's TV credits include Murder Prevention, Proof and Rough Diamond.

Oooo. They both look pretty hot :p Will be good to get some new characters! Still miss Dan though :(.

Connie's been in it not much at the moment, you'd think she was alredy on leave!!!

Has the new series started? They never have a few weeks break like they do with Casualty to signal the end and start of a series.

Dan will be hard to replace. I thought his exit was rather pants, they could have thought of something better for him than that. I suppose he can still come back. Hopefully he'll be like Abra and come back regulary.

Yeah the new series started a few weeks ago... in the tv guide it says ep 4 out of 25 or something.. but yeah its deffo started.

Yeah Dan will be really hard to fill. I agree about his exit, but I do hope he comes back too :p One day eh :p.

Ha oh thank god Jac didn't get his job :p

Her aim is too sleep her way to the top I guess :lol: She's going to be peeved when she realises she's not getting the job :lol:

Both these new guys are quite hot. I do agree. :p (Although I still want Dan to come back! :D )
