'Divas' line up for one-off TV special

A one-off TV show celebrating the world's most glamorous female singers is to be broadcast by ITV1 this autumn.

Saturday Night Divas will be hosted by Myleene Klass and will feature performances by stars such as Celine Dion, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Lopez.

Natasha Bedingfield, Girls Aloud, Leona Lewis, Jamelia and Chaka Khan will also sing at the event, which will mark the end of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

ITV music and events controller Guy Freeman said: "To get artists of this calibre from across the world together on one show is a great coup."

The programme's sets are to be based on the glamour of Moulin Rouge, while Girls Aloud are expected to be wearing their most revealing outfits yet.

Freeman added: "I'm sure that this collection of amazing performances will not only mean a lot to those who've been fundraising in October, but will also be a real treat for all fans of great divas."

ooo, Im looking forward to this, cos I think these days sometimes we forget about the femal singers... well that not true but at least the groups and the male singers do tend to get more attention

Myleene Klass presents the celebration of all things `woman', marking the conclusion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. With an audience of specially invited fundraisers and campaigners there will be appearances from Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Chaka Khan and a performance from Girls Aloud on a set based on the Moulin Rouge. Alicia Keys also performs in the studio along with Jamelia, Natasha Bedingfield, Shirley Bassey and last year's X Factor winner Leona Lewis SUB
