Since we've all read Bryan Kirkwood's interview (which is in Huge Spoilers 2007/2008 thread) and the spoilers given about some forthcoming storylines/spoilers, i am mostly intrigued by this storyline, i found an article/spoilers from Hollyoaks.com
ZOE AND MIKE’S UNEXPECTED LOVE
The start of an unexpected love affair begins in January as Zoë and Mike Barnes grow closer. A new friendship between the two quickly grows into more.
DISTRAUGHT
The New Year will see Zoë move in with the Barnes' after sparking up a friendship with Sarah. However, the move takes place during a fragile time in Kathy and Mike's relationship and Zoë becomes a distraught Mike's confidante. As Kathy becomes unpredictable Mike tries to salvage their relationship but feels rejected when a surprise anniversary meal is ruined.
FRIENDSHIP
As Zoë repeatedly finds Mike distraught and depressed they grow closer until Kathy spies a friendly embrace between the two. Suspecting the worst she accuses Mike of having an affair and leaves the family home, taking all her belongings with her. The Barnes' struggle to hold it together although Mike is relieved his wrecked marriage is finally over.
PASSION
As Zoë returns home to find Mike miserable again they share a bottle of wine and each others troubles. Zoë has become close to Mike and reassures him gently. The closeness however takes a new turn as the pair kiss and finally end up in bed together. The next morning brings with it an uneasy tension but can Zoë and Mike manage to keep their passion at bay?
