used to love watching this show - actually thought it was really for a while, i was really young honestly, and always wondered how the baddies never got the person in the hat when the stopped for another show lol

I remember watching this, it was like a kids version of the Crystal Maze. The Dungeon Master was called Hugo Myatt.

I used to love this and I'm sure that they were recently showing it on sky - could have been challenge or something like that.

Yes it was Challenge.

It was great in the first few years when it was just Treguard and artistically designed rooms, but then they got poor quality altered images of castles and introduced annoying assists in Pickle, then the woman who went on to appear in Vanilla Sky!
