Hiya..
Figured I would start a thread on the afternoon show that discusses STRICTLY COMES DANCING..
I guess every one saw what went down yesterday, they always interview the couple that goes out,,and the judges and stuff.
So lets talk about it here.
I felt bad for Antons partner that has the torn ligments in her feet, she is going to dance she says, but my guess is they will probably vote her out.
Isn't Penny Stewart great ?? I think she is a perfect partner for Ian .
Matt thinks his partner is quite the chatter box, seems alot of people assume she is a singer, she also is a dancer. She did make a point, free style dancing she did for music videos were not the same discplined steps as in ball room.Ok every one jump in :D

i have tendonitis in one foot at the mo, its not as bad as Kates but i cant believe she would even DREAM of dancing on it! and its a quickstep too, the poor woman, possibly the worst dance to do with bad tendons!

What did every one think of Stephanie Beachmans interview along with gorgeous Vincente ???

Stephanie Beacham seems a bit weird, did she watch this show before she went on it? she just doesnt seem to quite get it. hehe, Vincent is great though.

did u know she played Sable Colby in a 1980s American soap called DYNASTY...( I am talking about Stephanie Beacham..) and she is deaf in one ear and partly dear in the other cos her mom had chicken pox when she pregnant.
Not sure if her deafness makes her act so quirky,, shes just 3 yrs older than I am LOL:lol:

I haven't seen any the interviews but I do feel sorry for Kate and Anton. It would be a shame if she got voted out because of injury as I would love Anton to win the trophy. The one to beat will be Penny and perhaps Gabby and Kelly. I would be surprised if Letisha and the others can match their stamina.

hmmmmmmmm did any one see the Letita Dean interview this evening ??? Seems like her teacher ( from her school days )thought she was a better singer than dancer :searchme: She also thought Matt was OK but needed to wiggle a bit more ( poor guy was first out of the gate so nerves played a big part )

Brendan seemed to be awfully happy with the gal he is dancing with this season. She has to get rid of the giggles during the rumba or shes gonna blow it:rolleyes:

for god's sakes, how many times are they going to show that effing jive of Jill Halfpenny's! they seem to show it every single episode! grrrrrrrrr...sorry, but i didn't like Jill that much and i dont appreciate them shoving it on us constantly 3 years later!

What did every one think of Matt and Flavia's interview ??? U know I do not remember that many EE cast members showing up for Jill or even Louise ( is that her name the kid who played Ruby Miller ??)

lol, glad it wasn't just me then. if that competition was nowadays Denise Lewis would have won, since she learnt so much more and Jill was a snore-fest.

i so love the american smooth, Dom and Lalia's looked really good in the training- that lift was very brave! and i always love the samba, i think Penny will be good at it, particularly since Ian is the unlikely Samba god! oooh and Anton doing a samba is always funny!

Hmmmmmmm what did u guys make of this evenings discussion about Brendan's illegal lift,,that they could have been DISQUALIFIED on the spot..and then Craig goes to shoot down Bruno's score ( he gave them the first 10 of the competion..against the other judges wishes),,If they had really gone by the rules, why didn't they just disqualify them and be done with it,, RULES are RULES eh?? I sure do not understand what they are trying to do........:searchme: :confused:

I'm not familliar with the rules of ballroom dancing and Brendan should have known better, but at the end of the day SCD is done for Children in Need. It's supposed to be a bit of fun, were the public get to see some of their favourite celebrities learn to dance. No-one is going to win a million so I don't see why the judges have to get their knickers in a twist about it.

i must say Claudia held her own tonight trying to get Craig to see why you shouldn't be mean to contestants and then be surprised when the public keep them in. Craig came across like a petulant child.

I think they should have just disqualified them, they broke the rules, if it was football they would have got a red card why is Brendan any different

just watching ITT from last night, Craig is such a spolied brat! Brendan came across as passionate and not necessarily sorry for doing the lift, but sorry to Kelly for all the trouble he caused. he is right, it has been blown out of all proportion.
