View Full Version : What are your favourite childhood books?
In english language, we've started to talk about the langauge used in children books and we can to make a list of all the childbooks we could remember and that got me thinking to a thread about our favourite childbooks. Its really nice when you think back and remember them or when someone else mentions a book and then you remember and think awwww..........
Id have to begin with: Harry Potter (of course)
We're going on a bear hunt

What was that book where the kid would go outside when the grandfather clock struck 13 and go back in time?? That was cool, especially the skating on the Thames and meeting his friend as an old old lady.
I lived in the library when I was a kid

Shiv I used to love them, I had little red riding hood, snow white, cinderlla and many more, my favourite was the elves and the shoemaker. my mum used to buy one for me every couple of weeks I had a load of them. I kept them and used to read them to my nephew and niece when they were young and I gave them to my nices 20 years ago.
I used to read I think it was Gerald Durrell books about animals and wildlife.
