Define each decade music wise

Please note this is NOT to list all your favourite bands, but to list what you would say have been the biggest artists/bands throughout each of the past five decades.

I would say:

60's - The Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc
70's - Abba, Bee Gees, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Joy Division, Pink Floyd, Boney M, Jackson 5, etc
80's - Madonna, U2, Culture Club, New Order, Bon Jovi, Erasure, R.E.M, many many more
90's - Oasis, Manics, Spice Girls, Boyzone, Take That, The Verve, Nirvana, Kylie Minogue, Texas, etc
00's - Coldplay, The Killers, Westlife, Libertines/Babyshambles, Snow Patrol, Robbie Williams, Sugababes, Kaisers, Razorlight, etc

Would agree with you on most of that but for the 80's I would have include Micheal Jackson and Wham.. for the 90's you have go to have Blur if you are including Oasis and George Micheal too!!
