How many times a day do you think the Lifeboats are called out. I downloaded a little program from their site which sets off a little pager on your computer every time they are called out. Download it for yourselves and see. You will be surprised at the number of callouts every day. Remember the RNLI relies on voluntary contributions to exist.

they do a fantastic job, definitely worthy of a mention. how many of us would do this voluntarily like they do and risk their lives.

THey are an amazing organisation who i always give to being a sailor hopefully i'll never need them, but its nice to know they are on call.
