doesn't she care about her son's social life? they are never there and are constantly in ireland! i would be seriously fed up if i was ryan. well i guess he's constantly away on holiday but to the same place! doesn't she have any imagination! couldn't her parents visit her for once?!

I agree with you, also surely the school would be coming down on her! but i suppose if she's in Ireland they can't. Steve seems to be just as bad, only just coming home from holiday then jetting off and leaving poor Amy behind! and now he's off again with Michelle. I bet Loyd feels like the only owner of street cars, and the Rovers is a barmaid down constantly, surely they couldn't keep Michelle's job open just because she's Steve's girlfriend!

Yes he did take her this time, but he went alone with Eileen only telling Liz as he was leaving that Amy was staying with her! I was commenting on the amount of holidays the pair have had over the last few months. I think what the family needs is to settle down and have some kind of normality, with the kids going to school and playgroup so they can spend time with friends their own age.

if i was one of ryan's friends i would be quite annoyed as well. he'll have to catch up on all the school gossip and everyone will have got themselves other halves for the new school year and ryan won't have!

Also how old is he? surely he's studying towards his GCSE's and its rather irresponsible taking him out of school to go on Holiday (i know the first time he went was for his uncles funeral, and the second time he went was during the school hols) the school term is a couple of weeks in now! the last time he was on screen it looked like he wanted to go back to normality and just be a normal teenager again

he's 15. his birthday is end of June/start of July as when they had came back from Paul's funeral, michelle started to refer to him as a 15 year old rather than a 14 year old.

p.s i try to think of it as so many years young rather than old i.e 15 years young

so that would mean this is the most vital year in his school life so far and he's missing it!

I would also like to point out carla is the only connor who is around at the moment. liam disappeared off when he couldn't cope and is off in edinburgh at the mo and michelle and ryan are constantly in ireland.

I saw Liam last week i think. He came in the salon when Maria was getting her wages, he said so now you've got money you can take me out! but i haven't seen him since.

neither have i but for next friday (21 september) it says 'Liam returns from holiday' and this sunday (16 september) rosie says that liam has gone to edinburgh. i've seen a video for it (you can click on the link below and also find out a bit about Tony Gordon [latest guy to hit the street]), and there is a post it note stuck to rosie's computer for ages and she's looking at the computer screen and takes forever to say that liam has gone away!
